Really curious who’s going to be Delirium, probably the most difficult role in the whole thing.

100% the best

This movie proved that William Fichtner gets all the credit he deserves, as does Olyphant, and that Polley should have been a HUGE friggin’ star (I know she’s a respected director now, but still)

That is what I seem to have read about it. I think I figured out how to use that popular ebook sorting program to *ahem* liberate my kindle books from their DRM, so I think I’m ready for the leap - severing another tie with Amazon, along with moving all my electronics purchases to Adorama and Newegg

Thinking of ditching my kindle in favor of a Kobo. Anyone have thoughts?

Tideland was for sure Gilliam’s last “good” movie.

Maybe stop listening to 40 years of US government propaganda about who the good guys and who the bad guys are, and do some of your own research?

Odyssey let you turn your horse into a flaming beast out of Hades....a cat, by comparison...

Wasn’t “Lucy, Daughter of the Devil” already a show on adult swim like 15 years ago?

Bakalar is in a nebulous place, though, as he worked at CNET, which was ALSO bought by Red Ventures, and they seem to be combining/condensing their purchases into “Tech” and “Games.” Bakalar had said he would be shunted from CNET to “Games,” but there is no info on what that will entail. I’m not so sure I see him

They just announced this week’s Beastcast is the last one, so, yeah.

Try The Stranger, a BBC mini-series on Netflix. No spoilers - she’s the titular Stranger.

Killjoys immensely benefitted from the showrunner and writers going, “well...fuck it” after season one. Incredibly well-thought out LGBTQ characters, respectful of different lifestyles, and basically hired all of Canada’s working disabled actors for multiple episodes that created a fully fleshed out subculture in the

I’m no great fan of the property, but I will watch literally anything John-Kamen is in. She’s spectacular. Killjoys was the show Firefly should have been (and should have gotten that level of attention), she was great in The Stranger (worth watching on Netflix), and all of her little bit parts in huge movies, she made

I’d say it almost definitely was. Outside of Rykert who left for what is clearly his dream job, the people who left since Red Ventures announced their purchase are: Abby Russell, Ben Pack, Vinnie, Alex, and Brad. That leaves who? Jan Ochoa, Jeff Gertsmann, and presumably whoever is left at whatever CNET is becoming.

Presuming they got bought out rather than just quit, there might be a non-compete clause preventing them from starting a new site for a few years.

Let’s be real - this had everything to do with Giant Bomb being acquired by private vulture capital, who (judging by what Jeff Bakalar has said in a few podcasts) are condensing Giant Bomb, CNET, and others down into something like “Red Ventures Games.” It seems likely Giant Bomb will not be allowed to operate on

Just last week my Kindle automatically started grouping book series out of nowhere. Too bad I’m about to switch to a Kobo to continue my reduction of Amazon’s “services”

I just paid $60 for Nier: Replicant, a remake of a ten year old game. Everyone has different priorities.
