Yes, I know barely anything about her outside of her two or three popular songs from a few years back, but pressed to say anything about her, I was aware that she had a multiple song post-dating feud with Ed whatshisface, and that she’s a big celebrity runner.

Maybe you don’t get into West Point by being stupid, but if the last few years have said anything, they definitely don’t mind if you’re both intelligent and a sexual harasser.

I love Floral Shoppe, but yes, it’s not exactly soothing. I like having it (and other Vektroid) on when I read, but it’s probably best listened to alone with headphones.

Maddaddam is both the name of the third book AND the name of the whole series, so presumably they’re referring to the latter. I thought it had been in development hell at HBO for ages.

I love Maya Lopez as a character; interesting that she’ll be in Hawkeye, because other than Hawkeye taking the “Ronin” persona from her, she’s far more known for being associated with Daredevil and the Hand, along with having training from Kingpin.

That’s a good thought!

I mean, if we’re talking about people who can rock a fitted dress shirt and bowtie....

I mean, she does run a magic show as her regular occupation. I can totally imagine them using the classic outfit for her show, and a more sensible outfit for her adventuring.

I mean, given that they’ve already done Shazam, Green Lantern, and Constantine, why NOT Zatanna? She’s one of the major characters in DC comics, has a long history of interacting with the Justice League, and DC has arguably had more success, critically if not financially, with female leads. I get that people want

Hope it gets a third season so we can meet Bonhart.

Truly believed until today that it was the actual video. I assumed it was like the nine inch nails video for Discipline where the band saw the fan made video and was like, ok, that’s the video, thanks for doing our job for us.

SHIELD is supposed to be a multigovernmental agency (at one point it was the military arm of the UN!), but presumably whatever funds the US kicks in as a member comes from the defense budget

It seems pretty obvious why those ideologies would pop up. When there is a massive depopulating event, the survivors tend to gain far more leverage as labor, and countries with militaries in disarray and half the workers as before would likely have a lot more to gain from more porous borders. It also stands to reason

Do Mickey Mouse's boots taste like I expect they do?

She single-handedly justified the existence of the 300 sequel. I had seen The Dreamers in the theater, so I knew from the jump she was spectacular, but she chews the living hell out of 300: The Squeakuel.

Kirsten Dunst is WILDLY unappreciated. She may not be the best at drama (though I’d argue Melancholia is Von Triar’s best movie. Yeah, I said it, and she’s great in it), but she is probably one of the best non-comedian comic actors out there, up with Rose Byrne. Also, her marriage to Jesse Plemons is adorable. Also, I

Never forget that before she became a superhero, Betsy was literally a runway fashion model, and Rachel was absolutely designed to hit on Claremont’s bisexual BDSM fetish (see early issues of Excalibur)

She’s been a fairly big part of the current comics, along with her warhound puppy, Amazing Baby

On a recommendation, I started listening to Mortal Podkast today, and it is VERY silly. The premise is that each episode, the host attempts to explain the backstory of a particular character to a comedian guest.

Joe Taslim is one of the best martial arts actors working today. If they let him go all out, this may be a very worthwhile movie.
