Best action and best indie, I believe. Because Last of Us already won best action-adventure and they couldn't justify calling it an indie

Freshly made dumplings, with dipping sauce. Two dozen of them.

Jesus did Hades kill it. Apparently Megaera (whose voice....whew!) was that actor’s first VA gig!

The voice actress for Kassandra was not only great, but taught me how to pronounce words I had been mispronouncing for my entire life. Plus she’s hilarious in the Eurovision movie.

That’s what I appreciates about ‘cha

Their take on Cannonball’s powers ruined his signature Claremontism, though - “Ah’m nigh invulnerable while ah’m blastin’!”

Are you talking about the name of the institute? Because that’s an obvious giveaway to most comic readers, but my friend who has read a fair amount of X-men didn’t realize it until I pointed it out.

No time jump. As you say, they shot seasons 1-2 at the same time, and now two years have passed before they’ll be shooting season 3, so Keen will have gone from 13 to 15. But she can easily still play the same age, just like Millie Bobbie Brown, who aged about the same from the first season of Stranger Things until

I’m very interested to see if they can pull off The Stand. Does anyone know if the Expanse is going to drop all at once or week to week like with The Boys?

But Maisie went from like 15-23 over the course of Game of Thrones. That’s way different than 13-15 for Keen. It’s more like a Millie Bobby Brown situation, who can (I suppose) look adult, but plays her age regularly. Keen can definitely look age appropriate if there is a season 3 (which I still think is only 50/50),

The prequel books have one instance of someone’s daemon being killed which leads to that character’s death, but it’s notably extremely rare in the books. It’s considered a serious taboo to touch someone else’s daemon. As for how someone with, say, a bug daemon could thus be easily killed (a la the reporter in season

Keep in mind that gas is only 1.80 per gallon in the US because of massive oil subsidies which are taxpayer funded. If oil was not subsidized, it would be more like the EU, where gas is currently averaging about $1.50 per LITER, or $5.75 per gallon.

I’d LIKE to see them finish it, but I’m not so sure. Not only do they have to do the mulefa, they have to do frickin’ angels and the chariot of god, and the third book is a lot more action heavy, more zeppelins, flying witches, fighting bears, etc. They haven’t really shown that desire to do Game of Thrones level

I’m sure her husband (the superior Asriel) would have talked her out of it.

He was introduced far far later in the books. Second half of the second book, I believe.

To be honest, this being an HBO and BBC joint project (like Rome) and this review only having 24 comments, I’m very much expecting there to be no third season (like Rome).

I believe Chapin has a number of slots set aside for lower income students who get scholarships. I had a classmate in college who was by NO MEANS in the 1%, and she went to Chapin on such a scholarship. Doesn’t the author of the article mention how she got in?

To be fair, that easter egg pet character was the best easter egg in a comic book movie I’ve seen recently.

In the movie, she still refers to Reverend Craig, but then does confession, so it seems like the movie doesn't know either (unless Presbyterians do confession too?)

David, I can’t believe you wrote this whole article and didn’t even bother to ask if anyone had seen the poooooool? THEY FLIPPED THE BITCH!
