Yennifer is 105 in the books. She makes herself look however she wants, and her actual body looks nothing like her glamour body. Notably, she has a hunchback. Triss is even moreso after the third or so book. 

The book series has been done for ages. The plot actually ends before the plot of the first game. 

He's a lot less grim in the books. He edges towards silly. The part of Witcher 3 where the Witchers all get drunk and complain about their love lives is the most true to the books. 

I believe they have straight up said it's going to be the books, if not a close adaptation of the books' plot.
