I mean, it’s a Paul Verhoeven movie. Robocop, Starship Troopers...if studios can’t figure out that he makes satire, and audiences can’t figure out that he makes satire, then it’s not the movie’s fault that it’s not marketed as satire.

Woll has always been a bit one-note, but I think she’s just fine in DD and was probably the most consistently good character on True Blood.

Do you ever think that the conservative refrain of "This is why [insert terrible thing here]..." is exactly why nobody takes anything conservative seriously? For the political party of "personal responsibility," you guys are terrible at it. 

This year's resolution is to dump Facebook. Next year's is dumping Amazon Prime. My generation's support allowed these awful companies to become monoliths, and it's our job to tear them back down.
