You see a lot of amazing RBs do great things with a mediocre OL, and you see a lot of mediocre RBs do great things with an amazing OL. With that being said, it makes sense why teams aren’t spending on RBs. By investing in OL, TEs, etc, their money works across multiple areas, including but not limited to QB safety,

Did he get locked in and freeze to death or did he fall or have a medical emergency? Working with a partner in this instance would’ve come in shandy.

If that’s true, then yeah, scratch runners off that list. I was thinking more about the bouncing of their brains inside their skulls with every running step. 

Yes, more or less my thought. The impact causes the brain to move. While it may not be extremely hard, the brain is bouncing quite a bit during a run.  

For running, I was thinking impact, yes. I know when I’m running, doing sprints, etc, when I start getting fatigued, I can feel the impact through my body, and not just feet, knees. Same with baseball. A lot of running, jumping and the occasional collision. Basically, is it only a head injury that can caused CTE, or

I think at this point, everyone who plays football is aware of CTE and the damages it can do. It’s a great sport to watch, but with that knowledge, it’s a play at your own risk situation. At some point, the sport is either going to dwindle away due to these risks, or there are going to be waivers out the ass that
