Yes, more or less my thought. The impact causes the brain to move. While it may not be extremely hard, the brain is bouncing quite a bit during a run.  

For running, I was thinking impact, yes. I know when I’m running, doing sprints, etc, when I start getting fatigued, I can feel the impact through my body, and not just feet, knees. Same with baseball. A lot of running, jumping and the occasional collision. Basically, is it only a head injury that can caused CTE, or…

I think at this point, everyone who plays football is aware of CTE and the damages it can do. It’s a great sport to watch, but with that knowledge, it’s a play at your own risk situation.
