As a previous long suffering Philadelphia fan, I say this: go Caps. It’s a great feeling to be on the brink. Almost terrifying.
I’m guessing they can’t play in the soccer stadium 40 minutes away in Chester?
Disagree. It wasn’t smart, it was obvious. Adding bench shooters to a playoff team is a pretty easy idea to wrap your head around. The only “good” thing he did was not screw up the cap space and flexibility going into this summer. And that’s about it.
Look who we elected
The stress is really getting to Brett Brown
I swear if you read his lips you can make out “They’re magically delicious!”
FOOTBALL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PATRIOTISM. NOTHING. IT NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL.
This made me burst out laughing. Thank you.
All they had to do was keep the players in the locker room for the anthem. Or, at the risk of offending all the right minded individuals out there, not play the anthem at all. Instead, in true NFL form, they’ve made a very easy situation to deal with 5 times worse. It’s almost amazing, how the NFL manages to get…
G1st rid of him. Now.
As a Sixers fan it burns me we traded a potential top 5 pick to not take him
How about this: we draw 8x8 circles randomly on the field. If you catch the ball within the circle your team gets 4.3 points and, upon correctly answering a general knowledge trivia question, said team gets an additional 1.8 points. If we are going to make stupid changes to the scoring system, lets go all the way.
I hope one of the players comes out for the anthem wearing a tuxedo, top hat, and a Ronald Reagan mask with the word “bigot?” Written across the forehead, for no reason at all. Lets see what trump says to that.
Isn’t illegal parking normally a ticket and a tow?
Agree 100%. Dare I say the media blows it out of proportion? The LIBERAL media? Ok, that doesn’t make any sense. But you are right, its small and nothing that hasn’t been done by many teams in all sports.
They didn’t know? Maybe that?
They could. It wouldn’t even be unprecedented, as the Nets set tax records when they traded for Boston’s overpriced garbage in that infamous trade. However, most teams try really hard to not dive too far over the line or become tax repeaters. Billionaire or not, paying twice as much in tax as you your in salary is a…
It doesn’t matter. At 4/92, do you know how much luxury tax they will pay for that team? It would shatter records. Unless he takes the MLE or GS feels like paying 350 million for their team, he almost has to be moved.
