Gads. Looks like at one area, the water level just about reached a section of freeway somewhere and boats are loose and ramming into it.

Update: There was a tsunami in Japan after the earthquake. I'm not sure how large an area was affected.
Live Breaking News:
Just so you don't think it's all criticism or anything, but I AM having lots of fun with the new B/W game!
About the new Pokemon: B&W:
I think this was mentioned in a/a couple past interviews of his, didn't Steve Jobs have some bias against flash and say something along the lines of "I will not allow flash on my products"? Will the new Ipad be able to run most/all online flash games?
Well, if you listen to the sleep experts, it's not just the kids. Those guys say that MOST people aren't getting the sleep they need. According to them (when I see these segments on TV), you really shouldn't have ANY kind of really bright lit objects or noises when you sleep.
You mean in the U.S., right? 'Cause by the wording "seized by Dutch customs", I'm assuming that the government over there took a lot of the in-home consoles already.
Just got curious and wanted to see what an "official" definition of the two words said.
Er....Wonder how they're going to do THAT? Far as I've heard, NO ONE has actually been able to do full-3d hologram projections yet. Long as it's going to be on a handheld screen, how the devil is it ever going to really be considered "life-sized"?
Actually, I have run across a company that makes a VR exercycle that kinda does that. It's called an Expresso Bike and if I had an extra 5-6 thou just laying around, I think I'd really buy it. It's an exercise bike that has a manuverable handlebar (to go left and right) hooked up to a computer screen with a whole…
It is possible. Though, I do think it'd be a LOT more effective (and unfortunately scads more expensive) if it were linked to an actual piece of exercise equipment. You do realize that as much as the motion sensored games can get you to get up and move around, you don't have the resistance that the real world…
Soooo, just out of curioisity...how does everyone feel about the show "Big Bang Theory"?
Geez. If it was a grownup that wrote this, hopefully the paperwork he/she does at work makes more sense than this letter they wrote about a game.
Well, I suppose. (shrugging my shoulders here) If you take those two words back to their actual base, one tends to leave dead bodies around more than the other.....
Hmmm....Yes. Respect in good will/praise as opposed to respect thru infamy, I suppose.
How about if you were driving mad or upset or something? Would your mental image of the oft mis- and over-used "I'm gonna kill him/her." when mad at someone prompt the car to run over any poor unsuspecting schlep that happened be standing or crossing the street in front of you?
It'll be a loooooong time (if ever) before anything like that comes to reality. Or, at least until machines can process human thought AND separate intended thought and distracted thougt. I can see it now, I've thought-orded the car to take me to work in the morning. Suddenly, I find myself at Safeways! Now, why…
I guess the internet cafe was one that was open 24/7, otherwise they'd wind-up having to kick the guy out when they closed shop at least. IF it was a place that has other stuff besides the internet services, it wasn't very profit-wise/enterprising either. I don't know if or how much they charge patrons for using…
Personally, I think it might be that they'd find it too hard to deal with all the various histories behind a lot of the comic book series, especially the big ones. That is, all those comic book spin-offs, alternate realities and dimension hopping a lot of them deal in. Anybody here follow Professor Xavier's students?…
