Jeez D***. Those earlier pics're nice, but those last 2 or so pics....I can actually see her hip bones and ribcage.

Eh. I think that the new 3DS'll probably work either with the thing being programmed into the game itself or have some kind of toggle thing to switch the effect on/off. All those people that actually make the games we like to play....nah, no way ALL of them'll be jumping onto the 3D bandwagon.

I will get that when they can figure out how to do it withOUT those 2 wandsticks. I would LOVE to have this if I could use my hands to do the movements/manipulations. Looks just like those HUGELY neat virtual computer systems I see on those CSI shows, only the people on those TV shows don't need controllers.

Me? Been kinda expecting this. I admit it. I play Pokemon. I LIKE playing the pokemon games. Anyone who follows the games probably knows that within the mainstory games, each trio set pretty much went with one particular handheld game console (even though some of them are cross-playable on others). The second I heard

OMG. I hope that was just a staged shot. I refuse to believe that short of attending some con/club meeting, people would actually dress up in full cosplay just to play vid games on ANY game console.

Dunno. Never played vid games at that time. Gotta say though. Least this new 3DS thing doesn't seem to require equipment that makes you look like you're geared up for a game of lazer tag or something like that.

@ShadowOdin of dubious snowiness: Dunno. Prob not you, def not me, but must've gotten enough of "larger screens" or "larger console for easy holding" on wish lists from somewhere/someones in consumerland that they decided to put the XL out. 'Sides, I wouldn't exactly call the XL a "new" handheld console. It's just

Why not just say that both parties are at fault?

Oh, heck no. I'm not buyin' another one 'til a REAL new Nintendo portable hand console comes out (unless of course the one I've got now somehow breaks). F'me it's like buyin' a paperback for $6 then buying a hardback of the same novel for $20-30 on top of that.

Personally, I have the habit of thinking:

I play mostly Nintendo's stuff 'cause frankly the other two don't really cater to the types of games I like (meaning I don't do the mainstrean stuff like fighting games - mostly 'cause my reaction time's really bad and my aim is just...).

[the more income a person has, the more time they spent playing video games]?

Also, it's one thing if you're actually really truly doing it to just test run a game and then go out and buy it if you like the game, but it's another if you do it just to get a free ride and not pay just because you don't want to.

IF you're being totally honest with yourself, this so-called piracy is nothing more than theft/shoplifting. I mean, isn't that what it's called when someone takes things from another person or business without permission or payment? What's to separate from taking books/magazines off of store shelves and just making

Just wanted to comment:

Of course, this IS only a poll of Kotaku's readership, not the general public at large, so all of these figures shouldn't be taken TOTALLY serious.

Girlfriend as opposed to wife? Since when is cleaning out a guy's ear, giving Bromide, reading a bedtime story (assuming it is an actual bedtime story and not X Rated or the guy's sick with the flu), considered "girlfriend" activities?

Points of a star, wheel or asterik with an X Box in the middle.

@Yossarian: Geez. How old is this dude? Got a problem or something? Asleep on his feet? How the devil can someone hold a dead bird in their hands and not notice?

While cops acting like they're off duty when they're supposed to be ON duty is all interesting and everything, I think it's even more interesting that the criminals actually had a video game system they played on when they're doing things of a criminal nature and that it was a Wii i/o a XBox or PS.
