I think it's more competition for Yugioh and Megaman than Pokemon.

People gotta be careful what they're reading into these words. If you go thru a dictionary/encyclopedia, a LOT of words have multiple meanings and I'm pretty sure that the makers of this video game were NOT using the evil meanings.

See!? It's NOT just for kids. Adults can love Pokemon too!

If you like Pokemon, this is probably the one you really wanna get. I think this remake version is purely for the fact that they want/expect people to play it on the DSi and the thing doesn't have the gba slot any more. And, they want to give new(er) players the opportunity to get as many of the ones from older games

I'm wondering. If this game does get international distribution, will they also get "localized"?

Well, at least they're peacefully being distracted from their jobs.

No. What it looks like is an electronic portable radio toy thing for kiddies/preschoolers.

Not that I'm a fan or anything, but out of curiosity:

[‘Gamer' as someone dedicated to the perfection of fun.]?

@Lucasreis: If you want a bit better spread than just dogs, I would suggest something like...I dunno....Seganimals? Segapets?

@deanbmmv: I would take a computer or laptop and something that'd allow for wireless satellite internet.

Like the pic. The bulldog with the ciggy is funny.

@yantelope(pirate): Yeah. WISh I could get them to do that here. Unfortunately, I work for an extremely large company. Y'know what that means.

1. Like the saying "One person's garbage is another person's treasure", not everyone's tastes run to the same stuff. While some may not think much of certain video games, video game genres or whatever, there are people out there who probably do.

This is what "True Believer" fans do. Most everyone's proabably heard of the Star Trek fan couple that had everyone dress up in clothes based on the Next Generation series. I think that one even went into the whole costume makeup too. I seem to remember seeing some of the wedding party attendents dressed up like

Going by just the pics in the above blurb, I'd have to say gamescon. Don't know if it was deliberate on Kotaku's part or not, but there were two things (and this is on the actual cosplayers, not the people in reg. clothes):

@juggsgotcha: Ummm...I'm thinking it's Jim, Elizabeth's the wife, I dunno about the order, but I can't see them naming the kids "Farleigh" and "Kendal" so I'm GUESSing they're the dogs, and that Carolyn and Dawne are the girls. Well, at least the Carolyn. Can't decide if Kendal or Dawne is the other's name.

Unfortunatly, people that work gov patent offices can only deal based on the world they know at that particular moment. Meaning, they have no way of predicting how whatever new tech that they're looking over will be received by the public.I don't know the date of their patent, but (shrugging my shoulders here) it

If this is real, I doubt anything is going to come of it. Just production costs alone, how many games d'ya think there are, or more, how many companies d'ya think are out there that'll make any games of THIS kind? They wouldn't be able to re-coup the money used to make the things unless, of course, by the sound of the

Nintendo, stay your course.Different is NOT always bad. Just 'cause one person doesn't like/see a need for something doesn't mean someone wlse won't. If we all thought the same way, 1) we'd still be in cavepeople days and/or 2) we'd be a planet of clone people. I'm pretty sure a lot of the people that came up with
