Hm. Interesting. If you downloaded the thing into you're console, they could possibly scan for your previous game's info. But, if you're playing off a game disc, I wonder how they're going to find out what characters you managed to kill/get killed?

Hahaahahhheeh...Hoo boy! That vid piece? It was okay the first couple seconds, but suddenly, when the whole family plopped down to play, I suddenly got a vision of people playing that thing and starting to wonder, if I played that, would it sound like I was playing in the middle of a office typing pool?
Use at work? Manipulate files the same way you play the Wii systems controls at home? I dunno about that. I think it'd feel kinda funny. And can I say that I'd probably feel like a cross between a TV weather reporter (in case no one noticed, they use a remote to change screens) and a tech from the CSI shows?
If you took away the weaponry and flowers (or rather replaced them with a staff), I think it'd look like a sackboy version of Galdolf the White or Saruman.
Oh, come on guys! Right after she returns to work!? Without even a trial run? At least give her a month or 3 leeway to see if she actually can or can't handle it before throwing her down and saying she's becoming a "burden". (Although, considering it's Japan and I don't really know anything about their workplace…
They're still underestimating/downplaying some of the possible side effects of video gaming and seeing it as something that doesn't "EVER do anything REALLY TRULY bad" to people. Okay, SOME people. So, what? Does that mean that people that do things when they're high on drugs should also be given lighter sentences…
Wonder if they programmed anything from other video games into it? Yeah. Can you imagine? Call up a pikachu to electrocute the enemy or a druid to throw a spell at it.
I kinda agree with that. Take a simple thing like, say a baseball or golf club. If I didn't have a controller (or at least SOMEthing) in my hand, the motion of throwing a baseball in a state such as what Micro's new Natal system does would REALLY feel like flailing around. Or how about a game of golf? Do I REALLY feel…
Nah. I don't think it's that he's not so "gamer-friendly", it's just that he's not blind to everything around him. It's the same thing as food. Y'like food don't cha? But, everyone probably knows by now that you can't REALLY eat any and everything you want. He's spouting the health officials tagline and trying to make…
Near the top of the image, slightly right of center, anyone know what that beastie is? I don't recall hearing or seeing anything like that in the TV show. It looks kinda like a dark brown sandworm or something.
@Señor Cagon: Nah. That's just a stuffed toy version. If the thing was real, I don't think he'd be able to hold it like that. It'd either be too heavy to hold with one hand or it'd slide off onto the floor (note that he's holding it at a slight angle).
Just disable the online portion. Game CAN still be played without online capabilities. I'm assuming that's why games begin with only 1 to 4 players, the use of multiple controllers.
@Desolation_Angel: I'm hoping/assuming that the guy means there'll be 2 play modes in (some of?) the games and not that all their future games'll be that way. Frankly, I couldn't imagine playing Pokemon or Final Fantasy that way. Half/most of the fun and enjoyment of a game (especially adventure/rpgs/NON party game…
Eh. I don't need THIS kind of save system. Thing is, I wouldn't mind them putting more savePOINTS in some types of games. I wound up selling my New Super Mario Bros game 'cause I'm a short-spurt gamer, and with the game levels only have two savepoints (the tower in the middle and the castle at the end) on each, I got…
Whoops! Hit the wrong button...ANYways,
DEPENDENT on if country music proves to be a pull on Rock Band, they could ALWAYS
While not a fan or anything, but still....Johnny and June were good enough for a movie but not for a video game song list?
@Raziel66: Ooh, yeah. That would rock wouldn't it? But, that means that they'd have to hire people to man the character regulars (i.e. Jenny, Joy, gym leaders, etc). That is, unless they have a function where they can tack up a "Gone fishing" or "Will be back (whenever)" sign.
I hope that the game isn't JUST released in those packages. I'm buying just for myself. I only need one of the bundle packages with the pedometer and the game itself of the other one (if I get both games that is).
Who cares about figurines? I want the GOOD stuff. I heard that in Japan, there's 3 (note: THREE) special-event-activating pokemon available over there.
