Just watch. Eventually some uppity hacker will find a way to exchange or attach a high-quality drive to the thing and if you attach a keyboard to it, you'll no longer have a "gaming console". What you'll have is a multi-media machine that'll let you game, do computer work, and watch TV/movies.

Oh...and here I thought it was just for the feeling of team spirit. I thought they looked like the pit crew at some race car competition.

Yeah. No. I don't see actual controllers going anywhere. Motion controls (especially of the sort MS is going to) might be good for first person games like Halo or COD. I don't see it working half as well for stuff like puzzle games or rpgs (what with all those special attacks and attack combos and switching around

Excerpt:

@n00b_pwner: O-oh, yeah. No. Nintendo does NOT want either of their competitors to go away. If you look at the video game industry, it is rather small with only (essentially) 3 systems and Nintendo knows it needs the other two there to keep themselves fresh and to remind themselves they always need to try and

Hmmm...video games and lawyers. For the ones putting the lawyer and cop stuff out, I wonder how much realisim (if any) they put into them? D'ya think that the companies that put out the games like Phoenix Wright and the new Miami Law retain the services of consultants like they do for TV shows?

@Fontane: When I buy games, yes, I do look at reviews some, but ALWAYS with about a TON of salt.

Unfortunately, we're in the U.S. (California specifically) and (unless they do another store giveaway) can't get the Pichu movie pre-order or movie arceus. Over here, except for (I think) the first three movies, every single one of the rest of the Pokemon movies have been direct-to-video/dvd releases.

Oohh, I was just glancing over the lists one more time and saw something. Cursed Mountain is going to be on the DS too? NOT just a Wii game?

Oh, this next while is going to be a VERY good time for my DS and a very bad time for my pocketbook.

Isn't there some movie in production right now that's based on reality and "reality" of video game characters? Don't remember the name of the main actor of the movie, but I seem to remember seeing a blurb on TV about something like that.

This absolutely has to be a "as far as we know" list and not a "will" or "is" list.

I dunno. Sony's? I'd have to see what comes of theirs when it's finally out. At least it's still based on a controller of some kind. Microsoft? Uh-uh. Never in a million years. Why? Two reasons.

D'ya think that when the game actually gets shipped out, that they'll have/managed to make the game in different languages? If so, they're probably going to make a TON of money off of this game.

Now, THAT looks good. Music's pretty dramatic (that's dramatic, not suspenseful) as all heck. So. Now I've got at least 2 DS games already set in stone for purchase in 2010. Golden Sun and the Pokemon Gold/Silver.

LOOKS impressive, but it's not anything I'll be getting anytime soon.

Pac-Man?

Uppity versions of Space Invaders, that Tank one, and Adventure?

Who cares? I know they consider it an "anchor" game (like shopping malls have "anchor" stores) I just wish they'd get around to setting up and selling the balance board as a separate peripheral. I have little to no interest in getting the Wii Fit, but some of the games now (and probably more in the future) have been

I thought it looked like some kinda plastique gel toy block set a la tetris.
