Just took my first gander at the trailer clip. Beautifully done. Looks kinda like what you'd get if you crossed Prof. Layton and Lost Magic (with the tracing symbol patterns to do things).

Among that "list" of some of the problems this kid apparently had, I wonder what number video gaming came in as...
I don't know if it's a minor case of sheer "great minds think alike" or if they based it off of this other game, but y'know what the first thing that popped into my head at seeing that screenshot?
Who cares about an action-style Pokemon game? I know they said in previous interviews that they'll (probably) never put out an online MMO of Pokemon, but it's still a fav daydream of mine.
..cocking a hand up to my ear....can you hear the howls in the distance from ecologists and nature-lovers?
Don't get me wrong, I love the original Puzzle Quest Warlord, and think Galactrix is okay, but I'm wondering how exactly the "rules" of this one play out.
Sooo, wha'da'ya do? Like, lining up 3 or more of the enemy kills them or something?
I wonder what a coded conversation really sounds like. I'm assuming that they couch their words in euphamisims or something more innocuous/regular conversation sounding. I would think that they can hardly actually set up buys, takeovers and etc stuff in plainspeak when they're in an online game area.
Okay, now THAT was all kinds of neat.
Am I imagining things, or does a pair of removable glasses come with that figurine?
Soooo,...we got a penciled in pic of (I assume) Snake, a penciled in pic of a WiiMote, a pic of what looks like a 360 controller being kidnapped by an alien raybeam, a (I dunno??) looks kinda like a muk from the Pokemon show, a pic of...I don't know who THAT is, and a penciled in pic of Mario.
@jcb231: Okay. But still, I think Kid Rock's song would be a neat additon.
ANYways, more Rascal Flatts please!
I'm surprised they didn't add at LEAST one or two of the country songs that were done by/duet-ed to by normally non-country singers.
So, what? This is like a gamer's version of Matrix or something? Some guy gets sucked into his gaming persona or this is some Other reality where video games are actually alive or something?
I think what's gotten them all excited is that the thing in Platinum's Amity Park area, where the pokemon can actually be outside it's Pokeball and follows you around, SEEMS to be expanded to the the game in general.
On behalf of some people/friends I know, I hope they realize that not every one appreciates online and/or downloads. Fact is, while just about everyone has online/internet access, NOT everyone has high-speed, I know some people that are still on dial-up for crying out loud.
Oooohhhh.....
@everybest: And, don't forget (for the people that have the money for it), all those Ds's that come out in all those neat, shiny different colors, you COULD be having people buy more than one just on the likability factor. Also, like one of the other commentors, the replacements. I might be getting a new one soon too.…
One more comment, from the viewpoint of a person that loves fantasy novels, while "Heart Gold" and Soul Silver" are okay, personally, I think it'd sound better switched around to Gold Heart and Silver Soul. That is, if they want to keep it two words. Otherwise, Heart OF Gold and Soul OF Silver rings in the ear pretty…
