I'm convinced these are the demon spawn of Otto and Julie Hagerty.

The letter must also be written in you own blood (they will of course know if you use someone else's)...

Well, say what you want, but it definitely piqued my curiosity.

Well, instead of just throwing that away, let's talk. I might be able to ... um... salvage that for ya, yeah, that's it... salvage it....

Ok, to all of you who so correctly point out that it happened 3.8 billion light years away, and thus 3.8 billion years ago, and therefore conclude that we are safe:

I believe that turns out not to be the case (at least per wikipedia). The Saturn V refers only to the booster, not the payload.

Well... alright... *[rips up writ of excommunication and revocation of bris]* ... I can accept that.

Ah, that's helpful.

A. Hebrew is not a religion.

So pardon my ignorance. What is the advantage of boosting a payload to Low Earth Orbit, if we are shooting for the moon? I realize that in much of science fiction there is a vehicle assembly station/launch platform tooling around up there (actually usually at L5 or the like) - but that's not even a glimmer in Mr.

Really? Wow, I admire your restraint.

If it's that important, why do you call it "junk?" Wouldn't something like "my precious" make more sense?

...which the ladies are just CRAZY about...

I must admit to a slight chuckle when I read "a $225,000 sweet spot in the market."

Ah, very good. Carry on, then!

Gee, I hope you weren't going for the Bible metaphor, there, dude, because the snake didn't kick Adam and Eve out of the Garden. That would be G-d's doing, and putting the moderators on that level... well, let's just not go there, ok?

Well, it looks as though we've answered the "Will it Blend" question for the A-10 Warthog!
