@IceMetalPunk: Semantic fight! Semantic fight!! Woo Hooo!!!

@Quickdraw: Just noticed another difference: Ads. SkyDrive has annoying, flash-filled, big ads. DropBox doesn't - even the free version.

Dude, sorry, I only have the "scientific calculators" part of that equation.

The article mentions a screen protector that somehow still allows the touchscreen to work.

I vote for starting every Android discussion with "Your average android owning shut in who lives in his mothers basement and tinkers with scientific calculators while masturbating to anime".

That may be; SDI surely helped, and my original premise still stands: Reagan knew almost nothing about technology (I mean that seems obvious, given what his advisers convinced him was possible), but definitely understood the impact it would have on the USSR.

On the one hand (pardon the double entendre) I agree with you - it just shmushes the credibility of a writer to resort to the cheap line like that.

I look at Jimmy Carter with very mixed feelings. There have been times when he has really tried to work for positive, peaceful change in the world... then he sticks not just a foot, but an entire leg up to the hip in his mouth.

Hmmm, yes, I would agree with you there.

Perhaps if you asked it differently, it might. Bribe it, perhaps.

I wonder how they got the two hearts to beat in apparent sync like that? Pacemaker? Gotta be. Buddy Rich didn't have rhythm that good.

So much for a level playing field....

I would submit that Reagan didn't really have a clue about technology, and didn't truly understand much that the SDI was about from that standpoint - but what SDI accomplished more than anything else was a spending race that eventually bankrupted the USSR and caused its downfall.

...which, while it affects our view of him as a president and leader in general, has exactly WHAT to do with his impact on technological advancement in this country??

Philip K. Dick's estate may take issue....

Purple haze all in my brain / Lately things just don't seem the same / Actin' funny, but I don't know why / 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky...

First think that popped into my head.

Yes, yes, of course, free market, profit, progress, blah, blah, blah...
