@Kaiser-Machead: Here in the wilds of Cleveland, there is a $3.50 upcharge (on top of the $9-$9.50 admission) to see a movie in 3D. Doesn't matter if you take the glasses, bring old glasses, Frucci the glasses or whatever - they still tack on the upcharge.

@lankysob: References FTW! You get an A today.

Wasn't there a lawsuit some time ago against Microsoft because of bundling? Weren't they enjoined from forcing someone to buy product B in order to make product A work?

@lankysob: A good choice, but is that one word or two with a hyphen? Does it really matter?

@Ding-Dang: Them's some mighty cooperative cockroaches, if you ask me....

@emredjan: Figured as much - Nicely solved!

@janhajk: Where's Wonder Woman?

There was one group, however, which seemed content with the new rules: the nation's cable and telecommunications companies, including AT&T, Comcast and Verizon.

Wow, this brings back memories. They actually had a little tourist trail set on the river bed where the flow was stopped. And we were there! I don't remember how close we got to the edge - probably not close at all - but it was pretty cool.

@malacandro: You are correct in all you say.

@dccorona: My apologies - I unintentionally implied that there were extant shenanigans at issue here - and that is likely not the case, as you point out. This involved a violation of Apple policy, it is apparent.

@trs: Yeah, thanks. :-p

These are great as long as you don't really need to know what time it is.

@DefineStatutory: On the one hand, I agree with you, in that there are more important things about which to be aggravated. "Pick your battles," as we parents are fond of saying.

@KamWrex: Not necessarily the same thing because of weight distribution. This may be designed to balance perfectly in this format. A laptop is chassis-heavy so that it can be stable on your lap. There's nothing from a design standpoint that says it has to be that way.

@emredjan: You're math looks right; what are you assuming for the dimensions of each screen (or do you have them from somewhere)?

@BobotheTeddy: Interestingly, many people used to type on a Wang many years ago. It gave a whole new meaning to "having an 8" floppy."

What do you call a rail gun system that fires off cans of ground ham product?
