Even if it were an age difference of 16 to 26, I’m not sure how many places that would have actually been illegal in the time the movie is set. Or for that matter the time it was filmed.

Like 90% of the time I try to move spiders outdoors, but if they want to come hang out while I'm on the toilet or something they've got to die.

Vision is probably my favorite Avenger in the comics and he's a really difficult character to get right, so I appreciate how the MCU mostly has done him justice.

I was not a huge fan of Infinity War per se, but when I left the theatre there was a group of Black kids geeking out and positing theories about what would happen next and I thought it was really cool that it was hitting them the way the actual comics hit me and my friends.

For real though.  Getting to watch Hulk smash and just not have it be some existential or moral quandary is the best part of the movie.

Sadly, I can kind of understand where it’s coming from, because teachers are under a ton of scrutiny on how they deal with kids. Over 20 years ago I did in school tutoring for math and English, and there was one kid who was way too smart to be in there tbh, but he had poor grades because he didn’t pay attention.

Make it a nude with a giant fucking dick too.  "No, no, history says Sherman had a big swinging horse cock, we have to teach that."

Looking at something like Blazing Saddles is instructive I think. You can tell that a lot of the humor is not meant for today’s audience but still find it funny, in part because you can recognize the intent behind it, and also because it is a product of its time.

Lancer is an interesting Mechwarrior/RIFTS type of game with a pretty simplified rule set and the base rulebook has art from the person that did the Kill Six Billion Demons web comic.  The BRB is also free as a pdf.

Probably as many answers as there are types of addicts tbh.  I'm an alcoholic, but I can gamble responsibly and have never felt the compulsion to continue using other drugs I've tried (to a point where it interferes with my life anyway).  Other people have their own poison, and some people seem to latch on to whatever

I’ve read a summary and seen some panels from this arc, and it somehow manages to make me feel like it’s awesome, stupid, and that I can’t be bothered to read it.

I think the Pratchett phrase that applies here is "make a fire for a man, he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life."

For real.  The Shutdown Fullcast is the only podcast I listen to every episode of, but I am invested in this drama.

2 Knives 2 Out

I mean, the MCU harps on it a bit less than the comics, but killing Thanos was Drax's singular purpose in life.  So it would make sense to wind down his arc.

I had completely failed to notice that TGWLTT had source material.

I mean, I'm a surprised white person here, but I'm only surprised that none of those explosives actually got used at a rally.

The real problem, as far as it goes for prosecutors, is that their jobs depend on conviction rates far too often.  If we could institute national standards that aren't based on "how many people did you put prison" we might see more honest charges/results.  Of course there are a billion related problems like "we need

Buttermilk Biscuits was such a great song to kick off that album.

I literally didn’t know Shock G and Humpty etc. were the same person till I caught them live at a street festival around 2005 or so. I easily could have looked it up by that point, but it never occurred to me to even check.
