Rule of thumb is, speak for yourself, not others. You might not care, others kinda do. People don't get the same thing out of games.

The changes I want to see on a small scale in the game industry is the acceptance of criticism over problematic games and education on why certain things are problematic. And literally nothing about what I said was ever in line of "we have it terrible." So, don't really see your point, just see a smokescreen of

We can go back and forth forever about what privileges each gender has, that's not productive, all people can seek to do is to is to improve what they can, and speak out against violations of anyone, male or female. There has been larger activism for feminism (as well as for racism) because women have traditionally

In my opinion, focusing on one area of crime, doesn't seek to undermine or relatively reflect on other areas, does that make sense? I'm not saying, women and men have to have the same murder rate or abuse rate to signal complete equality, I'm saying that we as feminists want to work toward curtailing a significant

1.) I think you're going to extremes to rationalize feminism=inequality, feminism is not the erasure of violence against women, that is blatantly, and obviously, not possible. And rational person will come to this conclusion. Abuse against men is blatantly not right and we should work to minimize abuse and crime

Honestly, awful things happen to people all the time, no matter the race, gender, or religion, this is completely true. Comparing who has what worse, is the least productive way to discuss these things. Acknowledging the hardships different subsets of people face is in no way, minimalizing other hardships faced by

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with fame, and all to do with dying. I can see how her chosen day has come, and she can't quite let go yet, which is completely understandable.

Hmmmm, I don't know, the feminists that I know, and the core of what I hold to be relevant, is exactly equality. Nothing more, nothing less. And that's not to say erasure of ALL gender characteristics as we all, as logical human beings, knows there's definitely biological differences at play no matter what.

I wasn't being sarcastic, they cut like 14 minutes of it out. Cause you know, demonizing sex etc.

I think there are definitely positive ways to depict sexuality, and negative ways and that's where many critics have certain issues with over sexualizing in games are. I personally, really enjoyed Bayonetta, but definitely I could see why some people may have had issues with it.

I think a main issue of this whole debacle is that, some male gamers are really offended by the notion that the game they're playing may be sexist or misogynistic because they believe it as some sort of personal attack. As if that the game is their identity in that sort of way.

If I got this as an assignment to design a special needs character I would shit my pants in fear of being offensive/insensitive/patronizing/condescending. I mean all well meaning research is still not a guarantee against offending someone.

I really don't get all the enormous Disney hate, most of the people who work on these films are lovely people, and actually probably would try and handle this subject with respect and sensitivity.

Yea I don't see Disney touching this with a ten foot pole, they might have a special needs supporting character or something in DisneyTV or Toon, but not in a feature anytime soon. They know that if they fuck something like this up it would blow up in their faces massively and thus as huge corporations are prone to

I'd just like to point out it is completely possible to be a rapist without having been convicted in the court of law. Just like how it's completely possible to be a criminal without ever having been convicted due to our not infallible justice system.

I haven't played those games out of sheer cowardice but it makes sense! Blood flow is so efficient in the human body it makes sense that amputation is not always effective.

Something like how everyone has a strain of a virus/prion disease that mutated on a large scale, like how most people have a strain of the herpes virus. My theory is that a bite just transport so much bacteria and dirty stuff from being bitten by a corpse (komodo dragon bite on steroids), it just give them blood

Um, she stabbed him in the neck, and apparently a 3rd party actually killed the dude, so. Reading comprehension, yes?

While that's true, issues like slavery, abortion, gay marriage have all been at one point polarizing, and it's arguable that there is usually a stance on an issue that is less morally reprehensible then the other. Progress is usually accepted, nonetheless.

the nature of their whole "organization" is insidious and a way to obfuscate any real responsibility. Nor are they even affecting positive change. It's like a Trojan horse carried by a large generally well meaning group, with sympathetic ties to a smaller toxic group that advocates awful shit.
