If it makes you feel any better, the generally feeling of most developers (.i.e, artists, programmers, writers, designers, studios) are not in agreement at all with GG, the people who make these games generally despise this movement.

Sommers is like, fringe at best, so the fact that they've gravitated toward her makes me LOL in the most pathetic way.

Yea, I couldn't help myself though my saner side told me to stay out, since I work in the games industry and coincidentally, not male or white, I was even more furious that they somehow gave me enough fear to post to an alternate twitter account. Not my proudest moment.

I fell in that clusterfuck of gg, I've never felt more aware of the phrase "speaking to a brick wall" before that moment.

Yea I feel like that's splitting hairs though, Mulan herself was voiced by Ming Na Wen so *shrug.* Asian actors find it hard enough to get work, I don't mind a few Japanese/Korean actors getting gigs through Mulan, a more racially egregious film would've been that geisha movie where all the leads were Chinese.

I said " pretty good" not "pristine," and obviously, they've been making an effort.

How come no one cares about Big Hero 6, super progressive in terms of diversity.

Disney's track record with voice actors is pretty good, look at Big Hero 6, voice actors of all the appropriate races of all the characters.

I think you have to find the ones that sit at your waist right, I have like one that I found is the right torso length, AND has the right fabric ration from torso to edge.

I'm actually kinda weirded out that there's kind of an argument here like, I just want better characters that aren't under the banner of old characters.

I don't really do hypotheticals cause either way my response would probably be met with disbelief and there's no quantifiable way for me to actually prove what my response would be...

It's kind of not so much a theme but a popularity stake, if you have a familiar, already popular character it's much easier to sell than a completely new character.

Yup, it's a trend that I'm criticizing, a trend that movies perpetuate.

Is she really that unique though? They're recycling the costume, that's it. It could've been any character underneath that mask. But they're unwilling to branch out and create a new character cause they're afraid that new female or minority character's won't succeed without that prior popularity crutch. That's the

Are they really brand new characters though? Or are they just recycling the costume. That's my point, when was the last time a real, inclusive character has been introduced in comics and not just one where they're like, oh lets just make this a chick, give her some hardship, it'll be fine.

I think genderbending characters is a clear pandering to quiet down voices calling for inclusivity. It's like a retort, oh but we have female "insert character." I don't want a b-grade genderbent superhero. How about writing new superheroes who are kickass AND inclusive.

Sorry I don't agree, life is all about priorities, she's really going to give up on something that is actually important to her, her job, so she can write useless long thoughtful responses to people who probably won't change their minds anyways? Nah man, she can do what she wants, and people can criticize her if

To be completely fair she is a demigod...

This is why we can't have nice things.

Wouldn't it be better to join a better organized less toxic group?
