Sounds like you’re dealing with Man Child/Peter Pan syndrome. He doesn’t want to be the adult in this relationship because he’s got you to take care of that. If he hasn’t grown up after 10 years, three kids, and getting kicked out once, it’s hard to see what else you can do. Like someone else said, it sounds like you

How about the people who post on Facebook to tell us that they’re done with Facebook because it’s “too stressful”?

Who are those pieces even written for? Like, people who want to stay in the city aren't interested, those of us who don't care about living in NY in the first place aren't interested, those of us who dream of living in NY in the first place aren't interested. Who is the audience for this stuff?

That’s a level of cruelty I wasn’t considering. “It will be more fun if we ruin their lives.”

I’m not sure what they use, but a 22% success rate for people married sight unseen seems ... pretty damn good?

They are the only couple currently married. She is actually the bride that cried throughout the ceremony and reception because she thought he was ugly. He won her over with his personality.

I do too. I was also sad to see that Jamie and Doug just had a miscarriage.

How do they match them? Because I don’t think they’re doing deep Myers-Briggs shit. I don’t think they even checked a paper placemat from a Chinese restaurant.

God, I love this train wreck of a show. I AM HERE FOR MOAR.

I’m glad when people clap back at white feminism for trying to tell us what the black experience is *really* like.

This will never work. Everyone knows that repubs are mostly closeted gay white men. They will never be swayed by the bodies of beautiful naked women.

“Nice tits” — all the Republican men

The alternate title to the piece was “Lol Titties.”

Oh I should have responded to your other reply to me here: Taylor doesn’t get to pick and choose through which lens we view this ordeal. She can play the gender card all day long, but it stops with race? Nope she can’t do that. This is a multifaceted issue. When there are such clear differentials in terms of race,

Nope. Every time a black man is made to seem like the bad guy, there is a racial element to it. Black people are inextricably tied to their race we cannot be invisible. People will subconsciously register black guy vs innocent white girl. There are people who will explicitly make the connection and see Kanye has

There exists people who will refuse the existence of obvious racism, for whatever reason.

Piece of work is a tamer version of the phrase I’d use for this demon. She got mainstream attention using the white girl in despair trope and hasn’t stopped using her whiteness and perceived innocence to further her career. She knows goddamn well the racial implication of what she’s doing; she doesn’t care because

They use them for grocery lists! I just know it!

I think the hilarity of the Taylor Swift fiasco is overshadowing the racial aspect of it. A not-insignificant part of Swift’s rise stemmed from people wanting to protect her from the black man who repeatedly victimized her. Swift doesn’t strike me as a particularly stupid person and I’m sure she’s aware of this fact.
