I’m sober - don’t identify as an alcoholic but I stopped drinking last year because I was using it to self medicate an anxiety disorder and to escape the stress of a job I hated. I went from having a glass of wine every night plus 2 or 3 drinks on a weekend night to only drinking on weekends to just special occasions…
