I was being unhelpfully glib, but good point!

Her outfit suggested to me that she was body conscious, having maybe gained a little weight. But then I saw her look from three days ago, and it doesn’t look like it. I agree though! Her face looks puffy.

Outrageous, right? I always click through and look at the material because I’m fascinated by the uptick of 100% polyester in the lines of major designers. Don’t get me wrong! If you’re on a budget, polyester is fine (shout out to my wedding dress). But I would never choose it if I had money.

I know it’s Valentino but it’s still polyester.

uncanny!

That 100% polyester ectoplasm dress is a monstrosity of color, material, and proportion. There’s a reason it’s on clearance.

I’m a teacher in a private school in MA and we’re afraid that if we take advantage of the new paid 12-week maternity leave, our contracts wouldn’t be renewed the following year. Our admin has openly complained about the new law. There wouldn’t really be any way to prove that we were let go because of maternity leave,

Okay, I can see that the adjective “super-progressive” was a bit of an oversell, but I do consider him genuinely progressive now—and I think, for the right reasons. I wouldn’t say he’s let off the hook because I’ve been following this election closely and I’ve seen his past voting record brought up against him

I don’t think he’s let off the hook, and I don’t know where you’re getting the idea that he’s let off the hook. His policies shifted to the left considerably before he had someone challenging his seat.

You’re talking about decisions made a long time ago that he’s changed his mind about. I’d rather have someone who has learned from his mistakes and advocates for racial justice and environmental justice than another dynasty boy who only has political traction because he’s a Kennedy. That man divested in fossil fuels

Pelosi endorsed moderate princeling Joe Kennedy III over the super-progressive sitting senator and all-around amazing human being Ed Markey. I don’t trust her opinion on anything.

Yeah, applying yourself obviously makes a world of difference in the overall quality of your education, but I don’t think you have to do much to succeed at Ivies (whether you’re learning or not). I know that it’s pretty difficult to fail a student—they have a really robust network of tutors and advisors, etc., and the

I do think this Fuck Up is a massive jerk for the reasons outlined above, but the idea that she would be happier married to a guy that she dumped him for? I disagree with that. It also doesn’t take into account what her ex-boyfriend deserved out from a romantic partner. I don’t say these things to absolve the LW

Seriously, Bradley. Yawn.

Her features do, her hair/skin has that Aniston matchy-matchiness.

No you’re not missing anything. April Showers is the cultural reference, but June Showers still makes sense. June rain showers are also 100x better than April rain showers!

A friend of mine really struggled with her science requirements in undergrad and she had to take a summer course in physics to graduate on time when she changed majors so she took it at Yale because her parents lived near there. It was way easier than the equivalent at our non-Ivy college.

Reading between the lines, it looks like she’s trying to preserve Brittany’s assets from someone who might otherwise chip away at them. I don’t like to add fuel to the “her dad is a villain” fire, but if she feels the need to intervene, it seems like she doesn’t trust him to protect those assets for the kids, since he

I also like how Gay immediately clarifies that she’s not upset by it, she thinks it’s funny, and a bunch of keyboard warriors are jumping on Reuters to “take the video down” and “put up the unedited video.” That’s not necessary or wanted. Just keep critiquing the choice they made in the first place.
