Heck for the same price, I’d go for a 2017 Raptor and a Miata around to tow around to tracks.

The bar is so low right now with jeep/truck wheels. Seriously, they all look like complete testosterone/energy drink fueled hot garbage.
It isn’t a business. It’s a consent decree mandated public service obligation. When that terminates? E/A is dead. I’ve seen hundreds of E/A encounters in the last six months... have yet to see a car actually charging at one. here’s why:
You need to read the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy if you haven’t. It’ll take you an afternoon and it is well worth it.
“Prominently featured on the dash were a row of hand buttons for locking the front or rear differentials, or engage Trail Turn Assist”
California doesn’t need his help to demonize themselves.
“Banning cloud gaming platforms like Stadia and xCloud from iOS devices is anti-competitive, full stop.”
Yes. Because even though Google also takes 30% and removed Fortnite for the same infraction and is part of the same lawsuit pretty much every article on the subject focuses on how APPLE is a bad guy and APPLE is in trouble and won’t it be great if APPLE gets screwed.
But it is going to make a bunch of Devs pissed off at Epic, which are a core part of EPic’s business model. Apple can probably survive pissing off Unreal users.
Let’s keep some things in perspective.
You forgot to mention that the ““exorbitant” 30% commission fee” is common practice in the entire videogame industry. Nintendo, apple, google, Microsoft and Sony, all of then charge 30%. And 30% is not exorbitant at all. People buy goods paying a lot more than a 30% fee and no one complain.
Problem is that probably a HUGE percentage of sales from apps are in app purchases, because most apps are “free”.
What Epic did is the equivalent of a company being allowed to sell merchandise in Disneyland, and then deciding to advertise Universal Studios in its shop in order to spite Disney for overcharging them in rent.
The Raptor seemed like a game changer. This feels a lot like a money grab. It looks good, and I hope it is as good as they intend.
O/T: What the Hell is going on with G/O lately? Am I the only one seeing all the ads flicker, or having the header and Notifications constantly being trashed? I don’t know what The Herb’s up to, but it looks like shit. Not to mention the weird-ass splash page and constant ads for The Root Institute. Somebody needs to…
That’s generally what businesses try to do, yes.
You’ve seen their financials? Or are you making an assumption based on your biases?
Literally this.
Looks like some is paying attention, just not here.
Why do all of these articles compare Apple and the iPhone to Microsoft and PCs when Microsoft doesn’t make all our PC hardware? It’s more like Microsoft with an XBox, which I can’t sideload software on either. From their terms:
