Since you don’t trust a 10K report, here is forbes talking about it. Tax breaks aren’t subsidies like you clearly think they are. 30 seconds of googling will tell you that.  Stop repeating talking points.

We didn’t issue regulations for people to switch from horses to cars.  It was a product people wanted and so they chose to switch.  Its a completely different scenario.
