They still wont get it fixed. We have a neighbor with two vehicles that would be affected by this recall. They leave the car outside in the rain with the windows down. They refuse to answer the door to talk to anyone (census folks keep asking us how to get ahold of them).

What’s particularly shitty here is that the killed driver was not the registered owner.

I’m sure all of you other drivers will still find a way to do exactly the speed limit in front of me in the far left lane anyway

I haven’t seen a decent review of the GT500 compared to the GT350.  Ford makes it sound like the 350 was a stopgap for the 500.  That's all fine and well assuming the 500 takes all the best parts of the 350 and adds 300hp.  It just doesn't seem like that's the case.

You misspelled SCE.

CA relies heavily on the top 1% paying taxes in this state.  The top 1% have been doing very well the last 3 years.  You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Here is the real issue. CA is already under massive debt and always borderline bankrupt. Where is this money coming from to magically fix and expand infrastructure that has been left to die for 75 years.

With the few exceptions like this one, all the suits against Apple have been in regards to its pricing structure, i.e. its ability to set pricing on its own products (use of the app store).

Don’t know how to read a balance sheet, do you?

Sorry, I don’t even work in tech. However I do work in business and see the insane repercussions that people don’t consider when they throw around stupid arguments like “apple is a monopoly and shouldn’t be able to set prices for its products”.

Seriously, this has been debated to death by people who couldn’t care less about facts and just want to hate on Apple.  Its nothing like the Microsoft case.

Yea, it wasn’t PG&E, it was SoCal Edison.

If you think this is comparable to the Microsoft situation you really shouldn't be commenting on this...

The primary cause of these fires are from public utilities that are directly overseen by California. Its California (as usual) keeping terrible infrastructure instead of actually fixing anything that causes nearly every single fire we have had.

If you don’t believe in how our country conducts the jury trial system then there isn’t much else left to believe in. Were the only country that holds people innocent until proven guilty through a court system.  If you think the grand jury is “in” on this somehow and not just processing evidence then I don't know what

1500 fires in the last 6 years started by PG&E. The Bobcat, Camp and Woosley fire was started by Edison (along with many more).

Repeating Newsoms talking points from last week shows you don’t understand how any of this actually works. Show me the part where the feds actively working to not maintain fire standards cause these fires.

Your last line is going to make you look like a fool.  Apple allows you to upgrade to Premium in the App.  Spotify is the one who doesn’t allow it.  Take it up with them.  Apple still even shows that the in-app purchase is tied to the app (as people who signed up prior to Spotify pulling it still pay the monthly cost)

Market share is the only thing that matters when discussing monopolies.  It doesn’t matter that Apple makes more money on less market share.
