The sub brand thing could be interesting going forward. Mustangs are all performance, Broncos all off road. Whats next? Expeditions all people haulers.

Yuk. Even picking and choosing the best comments about this vehicle (when it landed 12 years ago) its not very reassuring.

I like this direction and is something more manufacturers should do, assuming they can keep it tasteful. I can’t think of many sports cars that have performance packages that don’t add a bunch of tacky stick ons.

I did this once after I received a car from my Grandma. Parked it, oops wrong side. Turned it around, hmmm, not here either. Checked the other side.

They didn’t say they were good colors...

The lead image had me wondering how I missed Zork running on an Astrocade.

That’s just sad. I do recall ordering a Kobe burger from some place just because it was the cheapest thing on the menu. It shows up with no burger patty. Couldn’t find the waiter to flag down so I settled for a bus boy. He ended up grabbing the manager who was appalled.

While the costs work out to $330k apiece, don’t forget that that includes a long term maintenance contract as well as the ability to provide spares and other services. The vehicle itself is likely less than 1/4 of that cost.

I really like the way these look as they nailed the 89-91 transition style that isn’t full box but also not fully 90s.

I can tell you that surgeon/bimini are both very common for fishing (or bad variants thereof) and how I was taught to attach a hook to a line.  I’m not sure I know any other real knots.

A noose is any loop with a slip knot.  Its a definition, not an admission.

I can’t trust the results of any survey putting Dodge and Nissan in a top spot for reliability...

There are several photos that surfaced before the FBI investigation where the ropes are tied into a loop to grab. The photo from this one looks more noose like than others I’ve seen, but its not the only place with the loop tied.

Kind of insane to have one part of the article claim there is no government oversight yet we have to dictate markings for HVAC controls

Go look at a COVID map. Small cities, small government oversite and little to no direction and they see minimal to no cases. Several areas right outside LA county see few to zero deaths while not having any major COVID rules.  Many didn’t have mask orders until last week when Newsom made his sweeping orders.

Haven’t seen the full report but several photos from the pit area showed a door pull with a loop knotted at the end (not tied like a noose).

A big part of what has been so horrible about coronavirus is how much we are all left to our own devices, without clear government direction requiring mask usage, and laying out what is and isn’t risky.

Do they even make cars that need a key inserted outside of the base model of the base car? Nearly any $20k+ car will be push button.  Hell, the Ram 5500 has a push button start.

Considering that its still sitting there, I’m guessing the junkyard is wise to what it is as well...
