Forgot about catering.  Our corp just cancelled all their major get togethers so all the catering would have been cancelled as well.

Which class does a flying telephone box fall under?

Love this thing but I’m more in “solidly depreciated” Audi territory than new Audi territory.

Aside from the above (and being even more restrictive on travel) my company has also decided that all visitors need to answer a pre-screening before coming to any location.  Basically asking visitors all the CDC questions up front to ensure we don’t have some moron heading our way.

I was getting pretty frustrated at the lack of Free-valve mentioning until I noticed the largest section dedicated to it. Thanks for this as it has to be one of the best inventions to come to a “production” engine. Can’t wait to see it filter down to Big OEMs.

Do the 2010s still have the issues with the turbos failing at low miles?  If not NP all the way.

So where is the coachbuilding part? I figured that they would be customizing the look (not just color and material, which they already do) for each owner.

As someone from California with the vapor catching nozzles this used to be a huge problem but seems to have been corrected over the years. On a new-ish vehicle (OBD2+) I can’t ever recall having the pump shut off at a CA gas station in the last 10 years.

Lagunitas HOP is zero calories but its more like sparkling water than NA beer

Finally found HOP locally and had to give it a shot. It really reminds me more of sparkling water with hop flavoring. Not nearly as “non-alcoholic” IPA which is what I was expecting for some reason.

I recently learned that several carriers have a stroopwaffle available as a superior alternative to the biscotti.  I’ve always failed to get it as they often ask “do you want a biscotti or waffle” which in the air seemed like an easy choice.

The 3rd gen Dodge Ram with the 20" wheel option had a 20" steelie as a spare.  I always figured those would look awesome on a restomod with some baby moons.

You can’t renew and get a Real ID online.  It has to be done in person.  Additionally, the renewal notice from CA makes zero mention of the fact that when you renew, you aren’t getting a real ID card.  In fact you can’t get one without specifically going in a DMV and asking for one.

Best part is that when you renew your license in California they don’t give you the real id option if you try to renew electronically. In fact there is zero mention of it at all. You have to go to the DMV and demand it and then you get to start the agonizing process of having a DMV worker process your critical

Sitting in Southern California it amazes me that nearly no one pulls over anymore.  Sure if a handful of people actually do it you see the majority kind of slide over and kind of slow down but for the most part people are pissed that an emergency vehicle dare try to pass them.

All of this

My S4 has been nothing but oil/brake changes well past the 80k mark.  Audi has its stuff together.

My S4 was 3 years old and well under half the sticker. Looked at a 2018 Ford Flex the other day listed at $24k with normal miles. Sticker in the glove box had it sold at $49k

3rd Gear: I still can’t believe the baths some people are taking on new vehicles. We looked at a 2 year old Ford Flex the other day that was listed for just under half of what its original sticker price was ($49k).

Anyone who things AB5 was designed to protect workers out of the goodness of lawyers hearts is fooling themselves. Its a countermeasure backed by companies that are loosing money to Uber/Lyft (like taxis...).
