I’m sure someone makes good sushi for major money.  For something like raw fish I think I would rather eat somewhere closer to the ocean...

Illinois has like 8 cities total over 100k people. CA has 17 cities over 100k just considering ones with a majority of hispanics to non hispanics. There are also more Hispanics in CA than there are people in Illinois.

I’m still going to wait and see just how emissions compliant this thing (the V12) is when it debuts. That’s a hard sell without a lot of asterisks attached to it.

Clearly, or I could point out that LA has more hispanics than the entire population of Chicago. If I’m from CA and landed in Chicago for 24 hours I’m not stopping for Mexican food.

Smug Californian...lol, you are the one freaking out over how precious your city is.  CA just doesn’t GAF...

“A lot” A lot is relative. We have double the population and 10% of the entire countries Hispanics (more hispanics in LA than the total population of Chicago).

As a Californian, the idea of ordering mexican food in Chicago kind of cracks me up.  Maybe I’ll head to chicago for sushi next.

I did my 24 hours (not even...) in Chicago and regardless of cliche wanted to hit up a hot dog and a pizza just to see what all the hype was about. Got the sausage patty pizza at Gino’s east after watching a heated debate between hotel clerks over which of two places was best. Nearly the whole hotel staff took sides

For those uninitiated, Jalopnik has a pretty decent write up on Donks and the culture that drives these outlandish styles.

My favorite is “if you can’t afford two, you can’t afford one”

The RS is the one that went 284.  It also did so nearly 15 years later.  The “basic” Agera is still 10 years newer.  Considering the miracles that all cars have seen with hp / speed increases over the last 10 years it really highlights how far ahead the Bugatti was.

I love how there is some kind of Meme worthy hate for Jalopnik. I saw someone ranting the other day because HOW DARE “Jerklopnik” (lol) post the info about the Z4s price and then not change their title instantaneously when new information came out.

This is actually a problem where I work.  Everyone has started commuting in F350 longbeds and they don’t fit in a standard spot (herringbone parking...) and you can’t navigate between them if they are parked back to back.

That’s pretty sickening information but sadly not surprising. I’ve said it here before, whoever allowed Uber of all companies to test their own autonomous software on the streets should be jailed. They aren’t Google or Tesla who have millions of miles and a decade plus of data and experience. They are a cash grab

Despite everyone’s ignorance on the subject, Apple makes it pretty clear that they only change when the opportunity (or technology) is right.  They have never said they were the first.

The crash was just icing on the cake. Jalopnik broke the C7 vette looks in 2011.

Fantastic article that really should become a style for more of Jalopnik. A little history, a little current events and a little aftermarket all rolled together. You could just get around to every make out there.  Reminds me of the awesome Jenni Helms article from a while back.

2-3 days is longer than “more than a few minutes”. For those who want to test drive a vehicle for 30-60 minutes which is generally longer than any standard dealer will let you, go check out carmax. Call ahead and let them know. All the ones I have visited have basically let me drive them around as much as I want

So can I stop getting weird looks from people outside of CA when I say “the 405 freeway” instead of just 405?
