I guess I kind of figured it was that “cool” car that he bought years ago anticipating a great career and his continual pass over for promotion and other contributors led to its run down state and his distaste for it.

Before or after rebates? Its impossible to tell half the time.
If you think about it, you would think that the Camaro is $25k - $70k. The vette is $55k-$130k. The mid engine vette makes sense at $100k-$200k. This also pits it directly against some other mid engine supercars out for sale right now (911 turbo, NSX, etc.).
I swear I’ve seen these before but I don’t think they are from the Lancer. There aren’t that many USDM Mitsubishis out there pre 1990. Should be a short list to check.
Can confirm.
Weird, I comment on Jalopnik more than most and have seen AD a ton where as I don’t recognize you at all...
Geeze I missed the star days. At least then the community could assist with the curation of comments vs relying on how a handful of editors want their comment section to look.
Sad that you are using Jezebel and Deadspin as your benchmark. Both sites curate to a narrative and block all discussion with how they structure their approvals. Jalopnik and Lifehacker seem to be the model for civil conversation over touchy subjects.
Here’s hoping for some kind of flagship luxury convertible. Kind of like a DTS on steroids. The electric power makes it quiet and fast while the size and convertible makes a perfect cruiser.
Not that I would ever spend that much but $1300 for a stroller is nothing. You can walk into Buy Buy Baby and easily drop that much.
That’s like a 6% population growth overnight from a group of people who are bored and have disposable income. I bet the same thing would happen if you sent 250000 troops into LA for the weekend.
Yea, because the massive quantities of black widows totally makes up for the lack of Brown Recluses
Cant tell if you are trolling or not but Stoptech is a great company and makes a great product. Installing their BBK is probably the best thing they could do for a vehicle like this.
First thing I thought was how poor it sounded. Also, I agree with the V6 idea.
1st Gear: No surprise at all, each company wants what looks good from a PR perspective and aligns with core competencies and strengths within their own. Take away the PR portion of their statements and you would probably get a much different story.
This one is awesome because you can pop it in and out with ease. We leave it out most of the time just because it makes it easy to get people back and forth.
True story, had a mustang when i had my first kid. Couldn’t get the car seat to fit so we panicked and ran out and got a small SUV.
The actual Neon ACR is more rare than this thing. No idea what the owner is thinking.
More like a bag of crazy. With zero miles and decades of inflation this thing will never approach $100k. I’d also make the argument that the Neon ACR is far more rare than the SRT-4.
Laughing with a buddy over showing him a Mustang Drifting video he hasnt seen.
