I’m more amazed that people actually buy the Impala, Sonic and Taurus.

I see the AMD option as a viable one (they already supply a heavy dose of graphics for Macs). I doubt they would move to make their own x86 chips as the infrastructure would be insane.

Please provide some references before spouting this crap. Even Apple doesn’t expect you to buy 1st party (is that even a term) for all of your accessories (hence why they sell them).

I’m not sure I have ever bought more than 1 apple brand cable in my lifetime other than the ones that come with my devices. Same with everyone else I know. Never have anyone I have ever heard of had an exploded or bricked iphone. 3rd party stuff is fine if you aren’t buying bottom of the barrel garbage.

Of course its wrong, but its still insane that most people make the second largest spending decision of their life without any kind of research

This is a good article highlighting a big problem. I hate to say it but (obviously) these places are preying on the gullible and incompetent. Any amount of research or critical thinking could have saved nearly all these people from the 72 month hell they signed up to. Even with sub-550 credit you can get a decent loan

I know its an unpopular opinion but the Panamera is currently at the top of my list for the next car to buy. As soon as the kids can be trusted not to smash cheerios into the seat...

This is the key but the market already knows. You can’t get a 4 door e46. The e90 sedan is already moving up. They were at least 5k over all the others that I could find.

These have had a weird couple years. They didnt move from $30k for a long time and basically plummetted overnight (seems to be when the NSX took off again) down into the $12k-$15k range and now are going back up again.

Wrong. The wagon gives a ton a paracticality without having to buy a stupid SUV/Van.

Sucks to be everyone who bought a first year automatic only. Plus, the are already pretty pricy on the used market for a decent one with a stick.

Not right now but I still hold that the B8 S4 is an amazing value and will blow up here in the near future. You can get one starting under $20k if you look hard enough with great versions round $26k. For that you get a decently reliable 300whp awd sport sedan with a fantastic interior. Another $1500 gets you an

This is wrong. Your concept of how a computer should and can react should not ever be thought of in comparison to how a human could or would react.

Even in the self-driving car space, Uber admits its technology lags behind competitors by years,

Becuase this particular system was designed to be implemented fast and at low cost. This isn’t Google or GMs software, its unique to Uber and their desire to generate headlines and eliminate paying drivers.

There are some great flat wrapped Audi/VWs around here in orange or aqua. I would love to see more of it.

USAA is pretty amazing all around. The kicker is that they will drop you if you have a bad record. They keep costs down by only selectivly isuring good drivers.

I think you are completely underestimating these systems. While a human needs at least a full second to react and apply the brakes (and taking about 44 feet to do so) a computer and sensor array do not. These systems react fast enough that the computers will be waiting on the electrons to pass through the wiring

No idea. Its crazy how CA cares so much about emissions but hardly anything about safety on the road. My wife had a photo sent to her recently of a car that clearly had the top take off by the jaws of life driving down the road.

Sweet sharpie tat.
