Sucks for those involved but a few things stand out.

This was my thought. People absolutely freak out if you try to do this. Combined with the liability and fact that most people don’t turn into the nearest lane and you can bet I wont make a left turn if someone else is turning right.

That sounds like its more associated with survey results than getting people to buy cars. Good to know.

It should also be said, most people don’t want their tax dollars gambled on a savings as well.

Got to watch a Subaru team do a full trans and front suspension swap in between stages at rim of the world a few years ago. Took less than 20 minutes. Driver came in first on the last stage with only the E brake to stop the car.

Considering the level of smuggling that happens in and out of US maximum security prisons, this doesn’t surprise me at all.

I always wonder more about the free gift with a test drive. I assume its some kind of bait and switch but I see it with national dealers even.

No, but her gangster looking boyfriend came over screaming obscenities at me and threatened to kill me. They then lied to the cops about who was driving so it was initially documented as a hit and run. Seems she didn’t have a license (or insurance).

It shames me to see all the Chevy love. You have to raise them better than that.

This happens to me all the time. Random driver screws up and then yells at me like it was my fault. Recently, someone blew a stop sign (I was on a 60 mph highway with no stop) and smashed into my car. She ran up to me screaming “why didn’t you stop, it was my turn”.

Agreed, I held a hand up and apologized through my window once and the guy got pissed and started to step out of his car shouting “WHAT!”. I rolled my window down and told him I was sorry and it was an accident and he looked like he had no idea what to do.

Now that my older kids actually derive some enjoyment from this kind of stuff I am really amazed that some of this stuff sells at all. That $300 lightning mcqueen is on the shelf at target. It looks awesome but who the hell buys their kid a $300 desk toy? Thankfully my son wanted the Ollie.

“Totally redesigned for 2005"!

Don’t lie, your current ride only has a tape deck and adding a BT adapter would double its value ...

That’s ok, we just passed a law here in CA that only requires you give the person who stole the car a citation.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

Says the guy spelling Northrop wrong...

Thanks, what year S4? I have a B8.5

I’m always torn on this stuff. I think an ARP kit is a better (more reliable) part than trying to peicemeal and tune your own car. On the other hand, I’m wringing my hands over adding 70-100 hp to my 60k mile S4. As amazing as it is, I’m not sure if the risk is worth the reward.

I don’t disagree but Ford has never had so many models of Mustang to choose from either. From V6 through GT500 that would make 6 different power levels.
