The Model S. Its the only damn car that comes with a 7-seat configuration. You can’t even get a small SUV with that kind of seating. I don’t want a Tesla but I am super pissed that it gets that awesome configuration and nothing else on the road does.

 Oftentimes, you’ll hear terms like “boost threshold” and “turbo lag” get thrown around, sometimes mixed up and sometimes used as the same thing.

When it finally clicked that Daniel Tiger was THE daniel tiger from MRN my mind was blown. Thankfully, there is actually a ton of half decent preschool programming on tv these days that I can actually stand to be in the room with.

Now we are getting into a different argument. GM is clearly going to limit who you can buy from and eventually it seems certain choices you make in life (like what brand car) will affect your other consumer choices. Its a stretch, but certainly plausible here.

It would suck to lose the Getty, sadly, with or without the raging fires, traffic there is about the same.

Meh, those of us in CA aren’t the ones complaining. It’s a known cycle. To dry = fire. To wet = growth = eventually equals fire.

It sucks that these are raging so hard and the location is generally sucky for commuters. That being said, it should be noticed how many cars are still making their morning commute with the fires raging all around them. I’ve never been a fan of the state, but the commuters really don’t GAF. Honestly, traffic is better…

Best I ever saw was the roof rack on a GT3. It was headed for the track and the rack had the track wheels.

These emerging market vehicles really highlight how bad brand loyalty/ignorance is in the car market. There are like 5 EVs that actually get 150+ mile range. At least 2-3 are priced out of what any normal person could buy. That leaves very few to choose from and at least one of those is likely “the best”.

Fair enough. I work at a “standard corp” so everything is pretty binary here.

I went from 106 bhp to 350+ bhp. Its a nice jump. Not quite too much that you can’t get on it every once in a while but it definately has me thinking that 400+ would just be wasted most of the time.

Why not just a second Porsche. Pretty sure thats what I would do if my wife took off.

The fact that you had access to EVO and CAR as a kid amazes me. It was always C&D and if you were lucky Sport Compact Car at the local newstand.

I know I’m the massive minority here but for some reason I love 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks from the 70s laying body. Its such a crazy juxtaposition that I can’t help but smile.
