I listened to this on NPR this morning, and I was finally glad an NPR correspondant challenged and pushed back on some of the nonsense a lot of these right wingers peddle on the news.
NPR usually rolls over, but not this time.

NPR presents facts, asks probing questions generally, and lets the audience form an opinion.

I have a 12 year old. He is a really sweet kid and I absolutely adore him.

Numerous players, from different teams, wanted to show their “outrage” at something that most of them are unable to define.

Not just kids. I find it hard as an adult to hold a basketball on a basketball court without bouncing it. It’s like denying the ball its purpose.

Reaching out to the youth...and handcuffing them because they don’t know how to handle kids.

I also hate it when the people that entertain me remind me of their humanity, and then go on to provide the exact entertainment I was waiting to see.  

If those are your attempts at a serious question, just stick to stupid questions going forward. Don’t be surprised when they look alike.
