When I was a kid, my family and I went vacationing in Mallorca. I found this really neat looking tomato bush in front of the hotel and ate one of the tomatoes. My mouth and lips started burning, and my eyes started watering, and I ran to my mother who explained to me the concepts of chilli, and why you shouldn't eat

I really like it. I think his face is soft and sensual and it's a great "fuck you" to anyone that has a problem with biracial couples. There, I said it!

It's funny how the "self identifying groups are problematic" argument is so often used against feminism, and so seldom against any other movement or ideology. The only other place I can think of, where it commonly appears is in matters of religion. What movements aren't self identifying? And which ideologies don't

Ha, that's funny! I read it as he thinks she's insufferable, but not too insufferable to bang...

I love that they are emphasizing that he was just the opening act :p

This guy takes negging to a whole new level...

I'm sorry, shame is the wrong word. What I mean is humiliation.

I am familiar with the experience, and considering the fact that she will be pressing charges against anyone sharing the pictures, it seems that she does mind having her privacy violated.

You can't possibly know how you would react in that situation. And remember that because these women are already celebrities, they already have stalkers. So some of the people who give a shit will likely fall in that final category, which would scare the living daylights out of me.

I'm not arguing that things don't change and improve, I'm just pointing out that evolution isn't about individuals deciding that a behavior is stupid and therefore opting out of it. And I'm glad you bring up lynching, because it's a great example of how change can come about: namely by society taking the pligt of

That isn't how evolution works. Stuff doesn't just get sorted out of us because we think its stupid. Having bodily agency and privacy forcibly removed is humiliating and terrifying no matter how much of a confident and sexually liberated free spirit a person is. It's not about body shame, it's about being confronted

She's only three years younger than me... I can guarantee you that this can and will shame her.

It matters because the pictures were shared without consent. Being comfortable with your body doesn't mean you cease to care under what conditions your body is shared, just like loving sex doesn't make it cease to matter under which conditions and with whom that takes place.

Art therapy is actually really. I haven't had instruction, but I do "mood paintings" (as I call them) to deal with overwhelming emotion because I used to suffer from depression and bad feelings freak me out. It allows me to get away from my catastrophe-thoughts and experience my emotions as they develop but in a calm

David Bowie is my Goblin King...

But the relationship between Mother Gothel and Rapunzel led to an awesome conversation with my mom about motherhood and aging! And Mother Gothel has one of Disney's three best villain songs (the other two of course belonging to Scar and Ursula).

I've been told that feminists routinely yell at men who hold doors, which makes me feel like I'm not living up to my full potential as a feminist...

I'm now seriously considering calling my next band Armagetiton... Stray thought.

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry :( Corner-hug!

Note to self: don't read proposal stories the day after a breakup.
