Sounds like a modified flat / consumption tax. The issue with that is that a “flat” tax or consumption tax doesn’t scale well. I.e. - 10% to someone making 25k a year is a heck of a lot more critical than 2.5 million to someone making 25 million.

That’s ethical. Of course there could be no other reason someone was not happy with their experience ( and thusly making intentionally duplicious obfuscation acceptable!) but that they are a horrible person out to shred you. Seems legit.
