Lucky! My DX tricked me into installing the update... It was nice & downloaded it for me automatically, but I kept hitting the "Install later" button.... Then one day I took it out of my pocket to check something & hit "Install later" while it was in landscape mode. The phone flipped to portrait mode & apparently

Exactly what I was wondering. From what I got from the press release, FB is only in the testing phase of whatever new feature that'll require SMS access. Until they release the update to the general public, there is no reason the app in the market should need SMS related access. Only the app they're using to

1.) The first paragraph said it was a "poor college student's phone" then it talks about a high school & middle school.... What college kid is texting high/middle schoolers?

She was responding to a message about setting a wrong meeting time, so... Something like "Sorry, meant 8pm" That's 3 words...

I was under the impression that it was tied to your account, as long as that particular account was still active you'd keep your unlimited data forever. Again, my understanding, has it that if your current 2-year contract is up, and you haven't renewed your contact & are just paying month-to-month, you're account is

You might be able to get a Sprint phone to work on Verizon, they both use CDMA. But as Kschang pointed out, AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM, a totally different means of transmitting voice data. There's no apps or ROMs or anything that could "fix" it...

If set up properly, no, it shouldn't be of any issue. However, from what I've heard, Win7 is a little picky if the partition its installed on is resized... It'll assume you copied it onto a new computer & start yelling at you about activating the new install or whatever...

It might slow the authorities down a little, but this will not hide the partition from them. They're going to see that your drive is a 500GB drive, but only showing up as having 250GBs & know that there is a partition hidden away somewhere...

Or a completely different version of the OS... Go from a Sense infused HTC phone to a HTC phone running near stock Cyanogenmod.

I was driving back from a job interview a few years ago... My GPS told me to turn, but when I got to where it wanted me to turn... I'm not 100% cause it was late (& thus dark) and I had no idea where I was at the time... But I'm pretty sure it wanted me to turn onto train tacks... I know jeeps are off road

Agreed!

Two questions.

Apparently I can't edit my post long after making it, so I'll reply to myself (won't be the first time I've talked to myself)...

Can't I do this at home? All that should be required would dropping a disc into the computer & letting it pull the title (or whatever it'll use to ID the movie) or scan the barcode on the box, and a second or two later I have access to the title in my UV library... Without having to pay $4/disc just to have some

hmm, ctrl+shift+enter didn't seem to do it either. Still getting "yelled" at about the lack of admin privileges to execute fsutil... Not too concerned though, I'll play around with it this weekend maybe... I already have all 5GBs from the beta test earlier so...

Wait... AOL is still around?

Are you perhaps thinking something related to Jan 18th? Unless you use TOR or a proxy or whatever to access them, they'll be as easy/easier than torrents to catch you using, since your ISP logs every site you visit.

The monitoring & sending of emails will likely be completely automated. So, likely would be any contesting - like the copyrighted bird songs a few weeks back, so really no new staff will need to be hired, other than an engineer or two to develop an algorithm to monitor our net use & respond accordingly.

According to the article at least, it looks like this specific event is an agreement between the RIAA & various major US ISPs. So I'm assuming US only. However, as we saw with SOPA, it was a US law that was picked up by other countries's MAFIAA counterparts. I doubt it'll be long before others try for something

To play devil's advocate...
