I would assume this is more for art sake than scientific research, so accuracy isn't a big concern... But I'm trying to figure out how one might make it more accurate...

Today's headline: "Apple Patents Non-Exploding Batteries"

I'll put another vote in for GO SMS PRO (don't think the non-pro version exists any longer)....

I'd still go with Pringle's suggestion of using your own network. For example, if all of your music is on your media PC, share that folder with your network. Then open it up on your laptop & copy the files over to its hard drive... If you have cables, plug everything into the router, it'll go faster than over wifi

For iOS, check out uMonitor on Cydia... Android has a few, just search torrent in the market.

Yeah, I'm not sure about hardware wise. I was under the impression that we'd need a different card reader to be able to get higher capacity SD cards to work.... Kinda like how a DVD player can't play Bluray discs... Of course I wouldn't mind being wrong... Could be cool to replace my 32GB with a 64GB card...

lol... Didn't you follow the Geohot v Sony case :p just because you bought the hardware doesn't mean you can just go about doing whatever it is you want to it :p

Would it be possible to spoof the codes so Verizon (et al) thinks your using the stock ROM, but you're really using CM or whatever? I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to do...

First off, right now, to the best of my understanding, this is just for tablets. The article said it was only active on Android 3.1 which only tablets have. So the screen isn't 4.3" or smaller - its more in the 10" range... OK, still not as impressive as 50-60" but getting better...

Yeah, but we've all read articles claiming most don't really pay attention to permissions when they install apps (Why does Angry Birds need to be able to make phone calls??)... Do you really think those same people won't automatically click grant on the SU screen that pops up without thinking...

I remember my parents telling me about when they got a Clapper for one of their lamps back before I was born... Every time a truck drove past the house the light would go off/on.... And I've gotten similar things for my keys. You whistle & it starts to chirp... Except it'd go off with any other loud noise...

I'm not sure if anyone is still checking this thread, but if you are & you can help, please :)

Infants with social security numbers similar to 124-56-7890 are often called ....

"Pffft every one knows that Cat 6 makes the best nine tails ...."

If they do skip some time, it won't be the next 2 weeks - at least not according to my TV schedule app anyway. Its got ep 6 (the 2nd part of yesterdays) airing next week (May 28) and episode 7 airing on June 4.

Out of curiosity, about how tall is the "under the seat in front of you" size? I know it'll vary by plane type and such, but the usual/average/etc??? I'm thinking one time I flew, I was able to get my backpack under the seat. I can't recall how much (if any) clearance it had. I'm sure my cat could fit under there

Out of curiosity... How does your set-up work? Every time a non-white listed page is visited the passcode has to be entered? Cause that could get annoying (for both the kid & the parent) if the kid is doing a research project and visiting a lot of new sites... Or if its a 'the passcode is good for x minutes' type

I like to consider them micro computers that are able to make phone calls...

Ubuntu... SXSW publishes like 4gb of free/legal music each year... to name a few more...

You'll need a US issued credit/debit card to open an account. But once you have one, you should be able to use Android's version of Tor, Orbot ([market.android.com] to assume a US IP. I haven't geeked out enough with it yet to try to find the Torrc file to set strict exit nodes to the UK (I'm trying to set it up so
