I think now is a good time to remind everyone that it took Winona Ryder more than a decade to get redemtption....for SHOPLIFTING.
It’s revealing that such self-reflection never results in the conclusion that men who have spent careers harassing and bullying should not return to those careers.
You gotta play into their superstitious fears. Like so:
Right, like they ran out of envelopes or the machine is broken or something. I spent three years of my life completing and filing I-485 Applications to Adjust and the NYT article makes it sound like they don’t exist.
Remember when republicans said they were only interested in curtailing illegal immigration?
Math and science teachers can be hard to find at the rate’s rural schools (and poor districts) will pay.
I work for a technology company that employs a large number of H-1B visa holders. My team handles all the visa applications, with the help of outside immigration counsel. The majority of our H-1B visa holders are Indian nationals. In the time since the Cheeto with the Pomeranian on its head took office, the WH…
I’m not saying it isn’t worth looking into, especially if there are direct ties, but I doubt Russia’s Internet shit show changed even a single vote. The people who read that stuff and believed it were already in deep.
Well said, but she can’t...and she doesn’t care. She will continue to plague the Dems as long as she is getting paid to do so.
To be fair, Hillary Clinton is denigrating the party. Anyone with a functioning intelligence can see what a mess she is for legitimate progressive party ideals. I hold her in the same relative regard as John Edwards.
While that’s true, other failed candidates were also doorstepped and subjected to similar treatment. No one made her ‘write’, heavily promote and publish What Happened that quickly, and no one made her promote it with comments like the ones that keep making the news.
Is the author just gonna ignore the elephant in the room here? Hillary hasn’t been asked to step away because she’s a woman, she’s been asked because she’s absolutely toxic to the party at this point. Not saying it’s right, I voted for her, but she is absolutely hated by pretty much all of the right and a good chunk…
She ran a terrible campaign, lost an election she should have won, and now we’re stuck with a psychopathic president.
But I’m so fucking sick of men that I’ve stopped liking drag queens because there’s an element of it that is men performing a man’s idea of what a woman is. And I’m just over men’s opinions of women.
I find the hyper stereotypical femininity of drag queens grating too. I don’t see any part of me in it, I see a caricature of womanhood by people who have no idea what it’s like to live the shitty parts of it.
Spikey is from my hometown. I have been a fan for years.
Wow, she actually really captures Eugene Hutz’s stage presence really well.
Yeah, I think there’s certainly room for many kings to step up their game and get more creative. Drag didn’t immediately get to the place it is now, and kings might just need to catch up.
“...the complete idea that women are more interesting to look at over men - whether you are a real woman, or a drag queen... women will always be more interesting aesthetically.”
Yes, the conclusion is there, but not the argument. People view women as more aesthetically pleasing, but we need to have the discussion of…
