I know Blizzard is making tons of money on the game as is, but I actually prefer the randomness of the silly cards. Hearthstone has a big population for an online tcg, and I think purely random things that pull effects from the full roster of cards are super fun and nonsense. I’d much prefer they reduce reliance on

That Sony response is a little snarky!

I’m going to promote a controversial change here: Bring back OTK grenades.

Mike, are piercing attacks still the end all be all of combat? That was my biggest gripe at the end of the first game. I wasn’t able to use ‘mons I liked because some bug Loch Ness monster thing had a better piercing attack.

So, does this mean Kirk gets a point for his 2018 predictions?

Yakuza 0 is my post-holiday treat. Got a physical copy coming shortly. I’m pretty excited to start it. My first Yakuza game.

Finished 12 this year. Honestly, I can’t imagine playing it without the 2x speed. I think that’s why I dropped it back in the day. A great game all around though.

Dayum. Merry Christmas, fellow Guardians!

This is something my friends and I all agreed on after some lengthy discussions. We were all struck by just how... messy the movie was. We all liked disillusioned Luke, no more emperor-lite character, Kylo in general, Rey being a nobody etc... Our conclusion was more that the issues all started with The Force Awakens

I think it has, but we won’t see the results until the first major expansion. I know I’m done, but I’m locked in for the next expansion since I foolishly bought the $100 digital deluxe edition.

Yeah, the X series is great. I prefer it as well. Mainly the first 3 and one of the PS1 ones (I honestly can’t remember which one). The dash mechanic makes the gameplay feel smoother and does something for the loop that really feels good.

Mine is A Christmas Story. Never seen it, never want to. It’s getting tougher as the Christmas marathons on tv go longer though.

Don’t give up, skeleton!

The Destiny cycle. Too bad I’m in for at least 2 DLCs since I got the digital ultimate edition. Hoping the Raid Lair is at least fun, but I’ll be waiting for reviews of whatever “comet” dlc they’ve got planned down the line.

Disagree. I truly enjoyed the broken silly update cycle of D1, from each dlc onward. I think House of Wolves Destiny was probably my favorite era. But I do think it took several dlcs to make D1 a “good” game. The weird brokenness made it more enjoyable to be a part of the community, along for the ride, I guess.

Too little too late for Destiny 2. As a huuuuuge fan of D1 with lots of fond memories and merch, I’ve entirely stopped playing D2. The expansion sounds meager, the “raid lair” disappointing, and the overall tenor of the game depressing.

Lived in Florida for years, and this is really unsurprising. I like Bill Neslon as much as the next guy, but he’s an “old guard” democrat that doesn’t do a ton to inspire. Not to mention some of the most toxic Democrats known nationally came from Florida, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Corinne Brown specifically. I like

I tried that logitech remote that’s been advertised. I returned it immediately. It was horribly unintuitive, and even though Harmony advertises it can control something like the PS4, it’s not “native” which means I’d have to sync it up every single time I turned it on.

No, you’re totally right about sports. It’s such a huge thing. Growing up, everybody in my family was hardcore into football. All I wanted to do was read and play video games. Obviously a big disconnect. I ended up going to college at a school with a very very large and prosperous football program. I decided to just
