The eroding power of the senate is really interesting/horrifying to watch. As majorities get slimmer and slimmer, both parties inevitably think they can change the rules in their favor. Dems did it in 2013 for cabinet positions leading to this current debacle, and Republicans are inevitably going to consider it for

Clearly the winner.

I’m playing casually because my Gacha jam is DBZ: Dokkan battle and it’s currently on the 2 year anniversary in Japan. Here’s hoping the server issues get fixed during today’s downtime!

Saw this on GAF. God bless you for signal-boosting, Jason. I do think all of the election posts were also super hilarious. Especially in real time.

I guess I use enthusiast store because they’ll carry Vita games without special ordering them. That’s a greater depth of product than most other stores, so kind of automatically puts them in the enthusiast category in my mind. Obviously its not as hardcore as it could be, but still.

Which is really sad. Gamestop is essentially an enthusiast store that’s become mainstream. With so many mainstream customers, they can do that. I feel terrible buying from GS because they ask all the requisite questions at the counter, and I know my answer is already no on everything. I know how retail works, you have

God bless you

Jason and Kirk, do you guys get bonuses for originating the Gizmodo Media podcast network with the#1 Destiny podcast Kotaku Splitscreen?

This is a really fascinating glimpse at Korean gaming culture. I remember the Cinderella law, but didn’t know about the Blizzard deal with gaming cafes. Very interesting! As much as I love couch gaming here in the states, the communities that have sprung up around the world are pretty cool.

I am going to be so disappointed if you guys aren’t sponsored by Roomba and Doritos. Because if I have to hear about MeUndies or whatever stubhub alternative is launching again, I will lose it.

Bleh, I hate shopping at Gamestop. But it’s the only place I can browse obscure games nearby. And by obscure, I mean Vita. I do my best to keep up with what’s coming out, but it’s tough! Vita games always fall under my radar and then I go look at the mediocre Gamestop selection and get sad.

All the melee clingers would get upset. Seriously, that community is enthusiastic to a fault.

Haha, this is exactly what I like to hear. I’m a huge scaredy cat, but interested enough in the first person spook ‘em genre. I suffered through PT and the demo for this and was sufficiently spooked. But this looks like a good balance!

Picked this up for $8 and was blown away. All of the joker lines are spectacular, and the ending sequence is really something impressive. I didn’t finish all of the enemy missions, because holy shit at all the Riddler trophies. But I did play the DLC villains, and the Mr. Freeze story in particular was fantastic. And

Dat stealth title edit!

Didn’t we get the XII HD release date? July 11th in NA.

Yes! The belts! Hahaha, I was so pissed. Luckily I was close to endgame at that point, so that was when I decided to bolt through the story. And then my final boss fight was glitched and he couldn’t hit my characters, so that was fun.

I had a feeling there would be more. When something so minor takes time like that, it’s inevitable there’s more later on. Glad I stopped.

Holy damn, same on that shard quest. I thought for suuuure there was an exotic/amazing weapon in there. Such a waste. I’m all about collecting stuff for cool upgrades, but wasn’t it just a rune or something dumb?

I picked up the Order: 1886 for $5. It’s a pretty game, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Then I got to the start of that blimp level and watched my character slooooooooooooooooowly descend down the side. It took so damn long and there wasn’t any meaningful dialogue or anything. Shut the game off because I was so
