I disagree, largely because the cause of all the Silly hijinks is “I’m poor!” And when he leaves the university, the main thing working against him is his heritage. Otherwise he’s super awesome at everything the first try.

But the narratives are different. In ep1 the guy in town is looking for bounty hunters to help him. In ep2 (the “past”) he’s recruiting for the civil war. We also see a flashback in ep3 to the beginning of the park and all the robots look super lifelike still.

Pat gets a ton of shit for taking so long to finish book 3, but I’m actually kind of glad it’s happening?

Wow. I’ve been demon possessed all these years and had no idea. I also tend to attract dragonflies. Is my demon dragon-esque? I’d be down with that.

Am I weird for actually liking the artifacting in menus? I don’t know why, but the artificiality of menus is just something that appeals to me. Whenever the menu is super clean, I always forget about it.

Damn, I haven’t needed a new external drive in some time, so I haven’t looked at the prices. Everything is getting so cheap. It’s really pretty awesome. I might pick up the 1 TB for my older laptop that’s basically just a media dump at this point.

Very true. Experimentation is definitely a good thing, it just doesn’t always pan out for everyone! I guess the thing I wished we’d gotten more of is the revelation that Kayaba has been playing the game with them the whole time. We learned it so quickly (apart from their initial battle with the hints there) and the

Most likely. PSN trophies already do this when you view them as a whole. You can see what percent of players has that trophy. Obviously its only those that have connected online but still. It’s a good barometer for games like Destiny.

It’s too bad! I liked how they tackled the “stuck in an MMO” trope. It felt more fun than something like .hack, but still had episodes that were still super serious. I did enjoy the Vita game that came out like last year though.

You know, I really dug the first... half of the first season, while they were all still in the original online game. After that I lost interest, tone seemed to shift. Lots of stuff changed. Oh well!

That map was terribly unbalanced. The windows were a source of great fun, but damn I loved starting in the subway more than the other side.

I was hooked on the episode, but my GF wasn’t. She wanted to know who would go to one of these parks and enact all sorts of madness. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here thinking how cool it would be to go to the Medieval version of the park.

My only disappointment with the show was Aang fixing his Avatar State powers by getting hit in the exact same spot. He had the spiritual connections and was ready to give up Katarra (Kataang is the worst) but oops, kids show!

After hours on the last raid boss Tuesday, I jumped on lfg and cleared it in one go yesterday. I’m not sure how much light level impacts the damage, as log as you’ve got weapons of light and a tether for each damage phase.

God that kitchen is hideous. I don’t care what style you like, that’s just in poor taste. It’s unfortunate too, because kitchens can be so awesome! It just looks like a tree vomited in this one.

Definitely a good thing. This is such a cool quest. I’m a little disappointed the hints to start this whole process were outside of the game, but it’s so weirdly unique that I’m not too worried about it. And I’m also ok with some stuff being inaccessible to all players. Makes games a little more exciting.

Can’t wait to do this, but I’d like to actually finish the raid first. We clear the whole thing up to the last form of the last boss yesterday and then that raid fatigue starts in. People are confused about who grabs cannons, the slam can be blocked if your jump isn’t perfect. Bleh.

I tried to do it this morning with a buddy and a rando from LFG. The rando had no heavy synths on any of his characters or in the vault. How does that even happen? I was almost personally offended by this, having survived the great heavy ammo drought during Crota.

Great! I’m waiting for maybe one more patch before I jump in. The game sounds right up my alley!

I’m so excited for this. But I’ve got to say, I hate the look of the armor. All of it will be infusion gear for that Iron Lord gear from the reward book. Thankfully the guns have some awesome perks. Full-auto firefly anyone?
