I love the narrative that “becoming aware of other beliefs and systems and choosing to acknowledge them” is equivalent to “WAR”.

Yup. This is basically as far as you can go, micro-transaction wise, without crossing the line that all Destiny players agree would be game-suicide. I’m mostly ok with these transactions, but I feel like this is an Activision-mandated move that Bungie had to agree to to adjust their content strategy. I’m mostly…
From what I saw, there’s very little story. The prologue was Fable-y but very very rough. I don’t want to make a judgement call on it yet, since it was a beta, and a rough one at that, but I would hazard that the story is more framing for the MOBA elements than anything else.
If the beta is indicative of the final product, I'm not sure how successful this will be. I played for an hour or two one night and it just felt like a super watered down MOBA. I'm sure more stuff is being added, but unlocking/buying characters shouldn't feel like the entire game.
This type of program is going to have wild success due to people who vote in primaries. By all means, if your main goal is to have an elected representative who shares your faith, go for it. It’s a shame that that’s a thing that matters to voters. I’d think policy and the ability to think for oneself would be better…
I love all the early politicking surrounding the primary states. I fully believe that the states that are first are way too homogenous to play such an important role in the presidential process, but I also love all the drama. I love that Hill-dog just can’t get certain states behind her. I love that no-chance…
Yeah, lots of miscommunication on this one. Not to mention people scoring the guaranteed rewards by using this exploit so no one is really sure if it actually drops.
Same here. Destiny-free life is great. And you know what else? I hopped on and raided for the first time in like 2 months last week to do the Warpriest challenge. And it was actually super chill and fun and not stressful. The loot was fun, the team was fun, there was no time stress madness.
Jason, just cut some of that content and then release it as an “event” later.
New company president = new legal direction? I wouldn’t be surprised.
Not me, but a buddy in High School.
I wonder if this isn’t easier than playing with some PUGs.
Honestly? I think this is a good thing.
Did you fight the “secret” boss?
Actually, Dark Souls 2 did this but as a feature. Dark Souls 2 had the same kind of unlock, where everyone downloaded the DLC, but buying it only got you a key. The trick in DS2 was that you could also warp into the first room of the DLC, and that’s where the locked door was. BUT, you could put down your summon sign…
Patrick, for the final boss on NG+, I would advise you to dodge. That’s it. I was in the same boat, having my main character in NG+ but wanting to play the DLC. I encountered some of the same issues that other hunters were having with bosses, except the final boss. I couldn’t figure out why I felt it was much easier.…
I'm enjoying it so far! But it's a game I have to squeeze in. My Girlfriend isn't a fan and doesn't want me to play it when she's around so it's a late nighter. But it's surprising me so far!
All of the stuff I grabbed on Black Friday, so Dragoball Xenoverse, The Order: 1886, and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
I understand why folks are upset about this, but I really don’t think it’s that confusing. Koei/TECMO want to make the most profit possible. I’d assume that the DOAX games don’t sell nearly as well in America or Europe as they do in Japan. Now more than ever, sexual depictions of women in video games are under (a…
I’m so glad you posted about this. I had completely forgotten since the trailer, but the fact that it’s on crunchy roll is great. I’ll be checking this out sometime this weekend.
