Right. I understand that.

My main concern was the battle system. If anything, I should be able to grasp that from the demo. All the other RPG stuff I know can’t fit inside a little vertical slice. But I had no idea what was going on. It looked like I could switch my wheel around and trigger supers from cute little minigames. Everything else

I was pretty excited for this game before I played the demo. Now I really don't get it. I can see there's some strategy in team building, but otherwise it seems crazy simple.

I’m not a comics guy, I enjoy the movies and I’ve read a story or two that my buddy really gushed about.

I can’t hear any voices other than the Abridged characters. Especially the Frieza saga characters. Those are the only voices I can remember, or really want to remember at this point.

Oh yeah, the hardest part about being the gaze holder is grabbing the gaze in the first place. This is just a suggestion for under-leveled people who still want to contribute and want to hedge their bets for their fireteam.

Wow.

Quick note for sad Warlocks out there. You can actually serve a good purpose in the Golgoroth fight! Spec yourself as sun singer and choose Radiant Skin instead of the self Rez. You’ll be able to tank a few hits from Golgoroths bubbles.

Welp.

Haha, she’s already really good as it stands!

UGH.

Jason, I know you’re a Destiny nut like myself. Glad to see you hounding this story. I know I’ve seen you mention wanting to tell this story in tweets.

Of course this has happened. Of course.

Every time I boot up my PS4, I see that sad Last of Us HD logo. I think to myself, “It would be really great to finally play the game that so many people liked.”

Haha, the DarkBlade helm is really nice. I keep getting his weapon to drop and not the helm. It’s so frustrating!

I’d just prefer the leveling track to remain steady until you hit endgame. I’m sure this was intentional to help the new Y2 players learn how integral the strike playlists are, but leveling a new character it just seems to take a long time for no reason.

I mean, 290 is the start of the endgame, so that makes sense. My biggest frustration is helmets. I cannot get a good helmet so I’m stuck using Saint-14 at 290. It’s really holding me back, and I’d like to switch over to Ruin Wings.

This is a great article. Firstly for the fact that you planned it out early enough in advance to make it worthwhile! And secondly because it confirms my suspicions that leveling really plateaus from 240-260. I’d bet Bungie knows this too, and I wonder if they’ll see drop-offs in the playerbase during those really

Haha, I thought the exact same thing.

I’d say that nonsense is what elevates Smash above most other fighting games. But I’m not a pro and I just love goofing around.
