I'll go ahead and say it. Oracle of Ages/Seasons are the best 2D Zelda games.

I would kill for 360 version of this game.
Fantastic! Just got a Vita yesterday! I've got the 8 gb that came with it, so one 16 should be enough for me. At least for now. I almost grabbed one yesterday but I'm glad I waited!

Hey Jason/Kotaku in general, is there any plan to put the MSRP in the Yes/No window? I definitely want to pick this up, but since it's a downloadable title, I have no idea how much it costs. I'll brave the 3DS eShop, but this is definitely something that I would like to know when reading a review like this.
This is a running joke between my girlfriend and myself. She hates it when I say the Butt-ler, but one time we were visiting her parents and her mom laughed her ass off when I said it. It's one of my favorite jokes from the show.
Interesting. This has the potential to be really good. But it's also an adaptation published by Activision, so I'm completely wary. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
Go check out the amazing book Console Wars. It covers the genesis up until the launch of the Saturn. You'll be able to see exactly why Sega went under. There was a lot going on at Sega, and just one article probably wouldn't be enough. If you're even remotely interested in this topic, check it out.
But Luke, those next-gen health bars! So high def!
Wow. That gameplay looks incredibly generic. Looks like only early levels, but damn. I'll wait til I can test it myself, but still...
I sent a bug report. They are definitely aware of it. I'm not sure what the issue is, because I got it on my laptop, a separate laptop, and my phone.
Jason, thank you so much. Luke really buried the lede here. Glad you were able to remedy that!
Exactly. The value proposition for every game is different. I would've been soured by Kameo if I'd purchased it for $60. I wouldn't be excited about it and I probably wouldn't have recommended it to people.
I don't care enough about a game to buy it for $60? I'm on a budget so I can't just buy every game available. But I think Ryse looks interesting enough to own, so I'll probably get it once it's cheap.
I think the Ghost Army is pretty cool. Once I finally grab an Xbox One, I plan on picking this up once it's $10-15, just like I did with Kameo on the 360. I had a ton of fun with that game, and this looks equally good for that price.
Rage quit and kick everyone out of the house when you get hit by a Blue Shell. Works every time.
Oh, for sure. I did the Master Key run my first time, I literally had no idea there was another way to go. That first part killed me so many times when I actually did do the run. It's horrifying. I'm glad I skipped it, since I would've raged so hard there.
Well, it's more knowing which class gets armor first or how to optimize the poise for certain runs. Yeah, you can easily look it up, but then executing is impressive. At least to me. I know where lots of stuff is, but not everything. In fact, I continue to look stuff up even after I've collected it for the first…
Pretty much any speedrun is impressive to me. I lean towards non-tool assisted runs and non-glitch runs, but the world record for Ocarina of Time is damn impressive. I had no idea there was a Gohma glitch that jumped you to the final battle. It's incredibly cool to know that it's out there.
Actually, I just prefer consoles over PC, and if every console had the same games, it would be boring. 1st party exclusives are interesting because these are the devs that have the full knowledge of the system behind them. Every little trick and tool to make a game its best should be at their disposal. Console…
Very true. We haven't seen a whole lot yet, so I'm going off of what I've seen. I desperately want this game to succeed, I love the studio and exclusives are what make owning a new console fun!
