The article seems to be failing Nintendo due to the lackluster 3DS launch line-up. Which is ridiculous because most of the games and publishers they talked about were basically just promises from the devs. There weren't any official launch dates announced. So how can you "fail" an ambiguous future promise?

I'm loving the HBO adaptation of A Game of Thrones. The changes they make are intelligent and many of the added scenes are some of the best in the show. Staying true to the plot of the books is difficult, but HBO has pulled it off with style. My only complaint is the Dothraki scenes seem pretty ridiculous, but I

Or resume work on that port of the original witcher. I've yet to play either, but I bought the first one a while ago. I'd be more tempted to play it on a console. Only if they don't downgrade the visuals a ton, the videos I've seen of the Witcher 2 are incredible.

I like a majority of the 5th gen pokes, but when there are bad ones boy, are they terrible.

Here's hoping that Square remasters BBS for PS3. And actually releases it outside of Japan. That could be the tricky part.

Thanks for explaining this madness.

Shhhh! We need to maintain the illusion of higher education. Just take your degree and go!

I bet you just read the cliffs notes.

Well, I think this is a step in the right direction. Obviously people won't forget how their personal data was stolen, but this is a good attempt at reparations.

I can't wait to get back to my PS3 to start playing some Marvel vs. Capcom 3 again.

I loved that show while it was on. Too bad it was overshadowed by that other comedy sketch show written by SNL alum that steals all the major awards for comedy shows every year even though its not as great as everyone says.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this. It just seems very... lackluster?

I agree that the story is a matter of opinion, but I still believe there are some very noticeable flaws throughout that cause the storytelling to suffer. And as I said earlier, maybe the whole "fate" thing works, it just wasn't conveyed in a very clear manner.

See, I would argue that if you took ANY (off topic, is there any way to bold or italics words on here? I feel like just caps-ing a word I want to emphasize is stupid) FF during the PS1 or 2 era and used just fight, you would die pretty quickly without some incredible item management. Even the earlier FF's had some

Was it the terrible story? That's what I hated. It was incoherent, inconsistent, and based on a premise that falls apart quite easily.

Point 2 is where most people will take issue. FPS' have that setup because in realtime firefights it creates areas to duck and dodge while attempting to kill the enemies. In FFXIII you just walk up to them and then are suddenly transported to a "battle field" and thus the placement of the enemies on the field no

Did you have any problem with the story? Because I thought it was incoherent and inconsistent. And that's my main gripe with the game, not its linearity. Because hell, my favorite FF of all time, X, is completely linear as well, but it had a much more compelling story and interesting cast of characters.

But there's most definitely a difference between Mario and FFXIII. Look, I played XIII even after hearing the horror stories. I was ready to give it the benefit of the doubt. But no, the game is just horrendous. For about 70% of the battles, you can just auto-battle and be fine. Its very simplistic. Sure, some

My circle of friends still gets together for some crazy board game action fairly frequently. Normally we play the Game of Thrones Board Game from Fantasy Flight. They make really awesome stuff. But my roommate just got the Battlestar Galactica Board game, so we might be trying that out in the future.

Online is always a nice addition to a game, but nothing compares to playing Brawl in a room with 6 of your friends in tournament mode. Its always hilarious watching your friend get matched up against a lvl 6 CPU that just happens to play the one character they are bad against and lose in the first round. Or to get
