No, no, no, and no. First, it’s inaccurate to refer to “making laws for themselves” when referring to the courts. Courts do not make law, they interpret it, and in that situation, that institutional knowledge is definitely important. Second, I’m guessing you’re not terribly familiar with the average ages of SCOTUS

Maybe it’s just me, but I think I could have found it easier to swallow if he’d just come out and said, “I mistook her courtesy as something more and acted inappropriately. I apologize for my mistake and my behavior.”

“...you can bring up any YouTube video and see he is quite a quick thinker and socially adept.”

It seemed like I was in the greys forever. Finally made it out, and ping! Here I am, back again. {sigh}

It would be the perfect way to end the week and an early Christmas present if Trump requested political asylum in Argentina.

How in the world has this not been a HUGE story in the national press?

I watched that inspiring phone call with the troops. I feel like I’ve suffered enough for one holiday.

“Was Mueller part of the memo?”

I don’t think so. This isn’t like mailing your electric bill to the generic PO Box listed on the bill - the interrogatories have to be returned to the attorney(s) who requested them.

Must she use taxpayer dollars? Of course not.

Seems like a fair assessment. And might I add that if she just happened to be bedridden and unable to whine about it, well, sometimes accidents happen. Machines malfunction, sometimes they get unplugged...not that I would wish that on anyone, because I’m not a monster. Just acknowledging that shit happens, ya know?

I currently have a sad because after literally years of being stuck in the greys, I finally made it out not too long ago - only to be unceremoniously returned to greydom during that last round of “shakeups” (or whatever the hell it was).

Hey, just because YOU don’t understand the importance of preserving the purity of our precious bodily fluids...

First, something that apparently will need to be repeated ad infinitum - anecdotes are not data.

“Are you suggesting it is proven that medical professionals are intentionally hurting black patients?”

Denounced by? More like just ignored completely, but OK.

Dude, they brought the saw with them from Saudi Arabia. You think they just coincidentally brought something to dismember a body?

That was actually the problem back when W tried his “stimulus” (that most people didn’t understand wasn’t extra money, they were just tapping into their tax refund early). A few hundred dollars wasn’t enough to make any sort of major purchase, so most people paid down debt or squirreled it away, neither of which

Except no, he didn’t commit perjury, or at least a very good defense could have been mounted against the charge, and WJC was urged by more than a few legal experts to fight it.

Sorry, but Brandenburg is not on point, Mr. “I’m capable of arguing fine legal points because I have Wikipedia.”
