Children are placed with grandparents and other relatives every day of the damn week, especially when the custodial parent has actually given permission for the arrangement. The idea that for some reason this is impossible now is basically just silly.

You still seem confused. Someone that requests asylum is, in fact, an asylum seeker, whether or not their request is granted. 

I really don’t know why some people find this so hard to understand, but let’s try yet again.

At which point, the appropriate response would be to reject the premise of the question, not to blather about when is the right time to open fire on people attempting to gain legal asylum in the US.
