Actually, a person who was innocent of the crime is the perfect example. “Alleged” and similar phrasing isn’t to protect the Harvey Weinsteins of the world. It’s only partially to cover the paper’s ass.

As awful as it sounds, I find myself kinda hoping that *someone* at PREPA is a kickback out of it. If not, they’re just hopelessly incompetent and some weaselly friend of Zinke is reaping all the benefits.
