it seems way more stable than I was expecting on launch day of the service and from my count there are 168 games available to stream. both the outer worlds and untitled goose game ran practically flawlessly (outer worlds had a touch of input lag but not bad.)

Hey guys,

keep in mind that 34.99 isn’t just for the console, it also covers 2 years of xbox live and game pass. which, if you paid for everything individually would cost you $859.

You do realise that the installments include 24 months of access to Live gold and gamepass?

I’m sure they’re happy that you’ve got Gamepass ultimate.  I don’t think this hardware is particularly important to the future of the Xbox brand, but Gamepass certainly is.

Still cheaper than a PS3 in 2006! (FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS)

Well, the problem is 99% of 4K sets in peoples homes cannot do 4K @ 120fps. My flagship Sony 4K set from 2018 can only muster 1440p@120fps, and I’m literally the only person I know that has a tv even capable of that, most are still on that 1080p business. This console is for the casual masses, whereas the Series X is

This is targeted at people who either (a) aren’t video game enthusiasts or (b) just want a Game Pass machine.

I wonder if this ends up being part of the eventual marketing push for XCloud.

Hey, this is America. We can be stupid in LOTS of different ways at the same time!

Because it’s the Xbox 4?

I disagree. It’s not an unfinished project, it’s half way to the crusher already.  This looks eerily similar to most cars in the local pull your own part junk yards around me

Only looked at pictures and then went straight to NO DICE.

Sure would! First of all, why did you pick 3? This is the 4th console gen for Microsoft (Xbox, 360, Xbox One, Next Gen).

I just want to point out this isn’t the 1993, when our parents had a habit of calling everything that played a video game a Nintendo. We’re the parents now. People looking to snatch up launch consoles for their kids in 2020 are probably pretty familiar with gaming, and tech in general.

As the owner of a 1987 El Camino, I want this to be worth $12,000. It is not. If the body is nice and rust free I’d say this is more like a $4000 car. I’ll happily sell mine for $12,000! It has a fuel injected 350 and will light up one wheel for as long as you want.

Would it help you to know that “full price” is $40? You can pay more for a deluxe edition.

So you’re saying the animations are just like 1 and 2 with a new coat of paint? I think that’s the point. Re-doing animations messes up the timing of tricks. There’s a reason why they kept it that janky.

If only somebody had played the game and written down several statements designed to inform others what things were the same and what things were different.

Exceedingly complex VW from the early 2000s, with incredibly rare W8(!?!)/Manual Trans/AWD powertrain, with eye-watering maintenance requirements, in a land where the roads are stained white from all the salt that’s spread from October through March.
