Feeling anxious? Doubtful?
I found actual factory S4's in this price and mileage range. CP
Not even one letter!
Jesus. Its pretty much a Molotov Cocktail on wheels. Fucking dangerous.
I’d say this is a death trap, but that’d be insultive to real death traps.
please keep this shitheap meathook abortion off of any and all public ways, especially those that are used with any frequency by me, my wife, or kids. This thing must be crushed by a meteor.
The good news is you won’t endure the agony of burning to death, because that Buick 3800 will crush your skull from behind after those welds fail.
If you could ever get that engine to apply all of its effort through those rear tires, this thing would do a backflip.
Dead front axle, cut up engine bay that now holds a gas tank, very heavy engine and transmission held in place by rebar... This thing has so many options for how it will kill you.
It’s SO MUCH WORK to have something so useless. Even if it were executed flawlessly, it’d be useless and stupid.
So...the top covers the engine bay in the back. The driver passes out from the exhaust leak (you know it does), and runs into something solid. The fuel tank in front ruptures. A big fireball follows. It sits in a salvage yard as a testament to bad choices. Two years later, sufficiently covered in rust, David Tracy…
Lol this response! What even is this revisionist history where the cars of the late 70s and 80s weren’t an abortive mishmash of technologies and bad design choices that were struggling to meet ever-stricter emissions and crash safety standards?
A lot of those 1950's Chevy’s in Cuba are mostly Russian tractors at this point.

My tiny ass hatchback has 30 more HP than this monstrosity, and even then its still slow as shit, not to mention far more safe. These things are as easy to work on as you think. There is a shit ton of vacuum cables and wiring that takes a ton of time to learn to keep straight
Ahem, simplicity? May I redirect you to the underhood shot. The wiring and vacuum line drawings will take up many pages - and there appears to be some disorganization.
So it’s at least three different colors, may be hiding some rust, and aside from having a fairly new lift kit installed, is clapped out everywhere else. It seems like the body bushes are completely shot, the steering equipment is worn and leaking, and you can imagine that the motor mounts, steering and suspension…
What is it with people right now asking stupid money for very elderly — 40 years here — vehicles? I didn’t even bother to read Rob’s words. That’s just too damn much for a beat-to-shit old Taco! Yeah yeah yeah Toyota something something blather . . .
